Is Semi-Homemade Cancelled?

An anonymous commenter informed me that the Food Network's Advertising Sales Web page does NOT list Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee as a "returning series."

Could Aunt Sandy be cancelled? Has her tub of Cool Whip finally been scraped dry?!?!

What's funny is that Sandy's pic is up on the top of the site...

... yet she's not listed in the lineup. Weird.

UPDATE: To be clear, the shows listed above are from the "In the Kitchen" category. Ace of Cakes, Dinner: Impossible, etc. are grouped under "Primetime," which I didn't show. But check that page out, as it has info on some new shows ("Dudes of Food"???).

I suppose it's possible that Sandra's show has so much interest that they simply do not need any more advertisers, but that seems unlikely. Also, "Sara's Secrets" is listed, which we know is no longer in production.

What's the significance?! What does it mean?! I. Don't. Know.

well, ace of cakes and good eats and iron chef and all sorts of other quality food network shows aren't listed either. my assumption is that they still have open advertising slots on all the listed shows. but then again, that doesn't make sense as there are some really good shows on that list.

We can only hope that they've finally seen the light on sandykins. . .but I think it's unlikely. They've invested in her too much what with the Chefauxgraphy and all--they can't admit they were wrong now.

ok, first of all, GREAT pee wee quote. i'm so proud of you, and i'm sure your sister is, too.

secondly, i make as much fun of aunt sandy as the next bloke, but c'mon. she's full of crackjack, good ole american fun! where will i be able to turn to learn about new cocktails? a book!?! puh-lease. what about all of her quickly put together, semi-fresh meals? a greater source i haven't found. and what about all of her quirks so near and dear to my heart? her cleavage falling into the gin, her yummy sounds, and her beautiful peroxide hair can't be found any where else on FN, let alone TV. oh, please, let this not be her final hour.

Did you check out the website and the other lists? They also have The Hungry Detective listed and that was canned. I have to say that the specials look quite, ahhhh, interesting.

Feasting on Asphalt2 (already knew about) but Feasting on Asphalt3?! Yay!

Dear Food Network?

Rachael's Pet Special? That's cooking FOR your pet, not cooking your pet, right?

Paula's Party on the Road, and I quote, "viewers to get the chance to have Paula, and her party, come to their very own town and reach out to them on a personal level". I like Paula and all but..... Ewwwwww. That sounds kind of icky.

I wouldn't put any stock in that list. They list Sara's Secrets as a returning show and that hasn't been produced for years now.

Wow, could this be true? It's so easy to make fun of her tablescapes and alcoholism... err, I mean, "cocktail time"... it'll be a shame to see her go.

I'm kinda bummed. I like Aunt Sandy but I'm all about shortcuts at the moment. I am making my husband her Ice Cream Cookie cake for Father's Day!!! :)

Is $40/day with RR also cancelled?? Or Tasty Travels? (I didn't like that one as much as $40/day.)

hey now, i admired sandra for having the consideration to always include cocktail time in her show. thats the best part of the meal in my book (unless i do it aunt sandy style and go strait for the drink). no one else instructs me in the multiple ways for me to use half a bottle of vodka at one time.

It is listed toward the bottom so I guess it is "Crises Solved"

I think that list is mostly horridly out dated, I'm pretty sure the "cooking with pets" special aired years ago... and that dudes with food was a failed pilot, also from years ago... and I think feasting on asphalt 3 might have become feasting on waves.. I could be wrong though.

I saw where the whole network is about to be taken off the air.
