Esquire Magazine has a "Women We Love" feature on Giada (thanks to Janine for sending it my way!) in which she gives her recipe for homemade sauce. Yumm!

Um, it's so good the FN stars always strive to have a certain amount of dignity. I'm certain no prude but sorry, this is not sexy, this iis just gross. It reminds me of the Carrie movie.
Rachel Ray still gets flack for that photo shoot she did but at least one can argue that that is somewhat sexy.
Are these real photos? They're disgusting! I was mortified by RR in her stupid titillating photo shoot from some years ago - but this is downright horrifying.

Gosh, if you didn't know who she was you'd think she was rolling around in blood. I know it's supposed to be ironic, but really, it's just gross. I'm questioning the erotic/blood link here, folks! Sounds seriously misogynistic to me. Just my opinion.
I think the first two are alright; the last is really horrifying.
Honestly, when this website first came up and I saw those pictures, I thought they were edited into making it look like Giada had just ripped out two bloody hearts into her fists and the other pictures were of her bathing in blood. Then I was looking closer to see if I could figure out what must have been in her hands in the real photos before they were edited. That's when I realized it was just tomatoes and sauce. I'm not sure which is creepier...

I love it. I'm very impressed with her sense of humor, himsicality and tankfull of tongue-in-cheek. She gets much respect from me.
Ugh, I just keep losing more and more respect for her as a chef. Got just get the Crest Whitestripes endorsement and get it over with (you know someday she will). I just keeping getting this vibe that if Food Network was a high school Giada would be like Rachael McAdams in Mean Girls.

Like Rachael's FHM shoot years ago, I think the mood of these photos is mostly playful and not intended to be taken as something serious or what some may consider traditionally "sexy."
Still, there is somewhat of a double standard that only Rachael and Giada have, so far, done photo shoots like these. When do Emeril and Paula get a turn?!?

Giada is a beautiful woman. Her recipes are wonderful. Why is it that some 50 something presidential candidate's opinion draws so much attention? Is it envy or simple frustration ... Giada, thank you for sharing your loveliness ... the red juice is a good contrast and simply reflects your passions ... keep up the good fight, lady ...

good for her, she's the best looking thing on tv anyhow. she could be slathered in mud for all I care and still whip up dinner for me anytime.
