10 Hottest Men of the Food Network
Stuff magazine's feature on the '10 Hottest Ladies of the Food Network' prompted fellow bloggers at Yumsugar to come up with their own list of the 10 hottest guys.
It's a cute idea, but I don't really think I'd go with the same list (Dave's NOT #1???).
Perhaps I'll just make my own "10 Hottest Friends of Ina Garten" list rather than hurt anyone's feelings. #10 would probably be her fishmonger Stan (or whatever she chooses to call him and then go on to act like they're old friends). I'll need some help coming up with the rest, though. Can T.R. help, you think?

I'm back from my journey to the midwest. I sadly did not make any Steak 'n Shake stops:-( I did go to a very cute place called Minnie's in Chicago, though. Check it out if you're in town and get some delicious mini everything.

BARF! Sorry, but they are all quite unattractive if you ask me.
For me it's Michael Chiarello. He's very attractive, has wonderful hands, and cuts vegies better than anyone I've ever seen, AND he gives out awards for "Best Love Scene with a Husband" and suggests we use three cheeses so we can have a "fromage a trois." What more could a girl want from a TV chef?
I totally vote for T.R. as Ina's hottest friend! I think he rocks the "salt + pepper" look far better than Anderson Cooper, anyday!! :-)
They chose the worst picture of Dave ever--he looks creepy in that photo. And I've personally never, never found Tyler Florence attractive.
I do have a crush on Duff that makes me feel slightly filthy at times, though.
And how could you not go to Steak 'n' Shake??
I moved to Baltimore to get closer to Duff! Hee!
I would have put Alton higher than #3--but I'm more inclined to geek cute than frat boy cute, so I know I'm an oddity. Duff should have been higher than he was as well, and WTF was up with Mario's inclusion? I probably would have kept Tyler Florence at the top though. His show doesn't do much for me, but he's dreamy...*smirk*
They ranked Mario above (or should I say "on top of") Michael Chiarello!?! These girls have been outta the loop for far too long. In my opinion, give me Dave, Michael and Bobby Deen, and copious amounts of freshly whipped cream, and I would be happy. (But please no vanilla bean seeds).

I wouldn't be able to make a Top Ten list out of the guys, but there are a handful:
Michael does have a charming sexiness, Dave is just too cute and there's Robert's all-beef goodness. I'll also give a shout-out to Chef Scott Leibfried, who used to host and narrate the FN Challenges. That shaved head and whiskey-rasped voice totally make me tingle in all the right places :-) (You can catch him now on Hell's Kitchen -- he's Gordon Ramsey's sous-chef.)
I am embarrassed that you've been to Minnie's while I still haven't gone even tho it's like 10 minutes from me. Glad you liked it, and sorry 'bout the rain over the week-end. It still hasn't stopped!
Mario is a genius and one of my mentors, but why is he on a list of "hot" men? It makes me wonder what "hot" means. If its not defeated by being overweight and wearing clothing that calls needless attention to your legs (shorts, orange clogs), then what the heck is it??
I agree with Alton at #3, but I would've moved Dave to #2 and kept Tyler at #1. The Deen boys are cute, but I'm not really into mama's boys! :-)

Steak 'n' Shake restaurant cooks do the one thing you're not supposed to do to a burger patty on the griddle...smash it down flat. But, I do like their food. And if I were of the feminine persuasion, Michael Chiarello would, IMHO, be a decent choice for a boyfriend/hubby, with Duff Goldman running a close second...after all, MC does flamboyant meals and DG blows up cakes for fun and profit.
That list is whacked. I'm not saying some of them aren't great chefs, but they're not exactly Giada's equivalent...unless we're talking about Michael and Tyler...
A list of the men (not just friends) in Ina's life is a brilliant idea. It has to be topped by the ever cuddly Jeffrey, without whom her superclose relationships with the others would just be strange.
I am so disappointed that you didn't go through with this contest. I'm all over the Dean boys, Lieberman, and Tyler Florance. As for Ina's "friends" they are a bunch of creepy married gays in pleated pants trolling for twinks (not unlike her husband).
