Rachael Ray On Fire, Jimmy Fallon Hopes the First Show Tonight is Too

If you haven't seen it, or aren't reading the comments lately, here's the video of Rachael Ray getting set on fire by Jimmy Fallon in a promo for his new NBC show.

I was a big Jimmy Fallon fan when he was on Saturday Night Live, so I have high hopes for him as takes over for Conan at Late Night. I know everyone is counting on him to fail... and I'm thinking it might be slow going for a while. Hope he finds his groove.

This promo was NOT funny in the least - Regardless of what chef he set on fire. This is the kind of thing that could really happen and it was in poor taste. Okay I will admit - having it be Rachael was horrible - as I am a huge fan of hers! And I did not like seeing Rachel go up on flames! Shame on JF writers and Shame on RR for thinking her fans would want to see her go up in flames!

Oh GAWD lighten up Anon! It was a hoot! I'm a huge RR fan and found it hysterical. I don't want to see her set on fire, either, but it's a promo and Jimmy is a comedian and she prob thought it be funny as hell and it was so get that stick out ur butt already. LOL Jimmy is funny and I hope he does well btw.

Suck it Charles - Jimmy is annoying and will probably suck- he is way to hyper and nervous and is NOT funny. And I agree with Anon - It was not funny to see Rachael on fire - Sorry Dude.

I thought the video was funny. Rach was a good sport for doing it.

Jimmy Fallon was awful last night but it was his first show so he was probably nervous.

Setting someone on fire is never funny! Try visiting a burn unit and then decide if you still think it is funny.

Why don't YOU visit the burn unit, and I'LL continue to not to be such a stick in the mud and enjoy my wicked sense of humor. GOSH! No one was purposely set on fire people, wtf? Eveyone's acting like Jimmie took a torch and lit Rach on fire. She cooks for a living. He and Rach were doing a COOKING SEGMENT. He is a comedian. He added too much Vermouth to the pan in which she was cooking and the pan caught fire and she just happened to be too close to the fire. It was intended. It was for a sketch. What part of this are you people not getting?! Bunch of Debbie Downers up in here.

I agree - Rach on fire was NOT funny- yes she cooks for a living - so the fact of her going up in flames is a very real thing... I just found it creepy!

My question is... Rachael set herself on fire for Jimmy- so when the Fuck will she get to be on the show????

hahaha for this kind of events people loves Rachael Ray. She is really singular. I can't imagine tv without RR, I mean there is another person funnier and sexier than her... cuz I don't think so.
