Both shows can present valid arguments to sell your TV's but in general, the TNFNS is less offensive to the masses than PR.

That's your smart thought of the day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368617.post-58284971941513503022008-07-25T20:45:00.000-04:002008-07-25T20:45:00.000-04:00"Bravo are dumping PR because the audiences are dw..."Bravo are dumping PR because the audiences are dwindling and retail apparel is in the crapper and will be for a long time." Alec Smart

You don't know what you are talking about. Brava wanted PR back. Most rigged show, please. You say this and yet you claim the next food network star is better? This after they won't even let the audience vote anymore?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368617.post-3364152791257786372008-07-25T16:51:00.000-04:002008-07-25T16:51:00.000-04:00Bravo are dumping PR because the audiences are dwi...Bravo are dumping PR because the audiences are dwindling and retail apparel is in the crapper and will be for a long time.

I think they are finding all these wonderful designers aren't all that shit hot and only a few have gone on to anything substantiative. Laura Bennett sells on QVC , Homeless Jay peddles his junk on QVC. Chloe has line that will probably tank.

Bravo ain't stupid. Beside the show was annoying to watch. I do not think I have seen humans act so petty in my life.

Maybe they want to keep making real competitions like Top Chef as real as possible and decided to get rid of white elephant lame-o shows like PR.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368617.post-14696003770887968712008-07-25T12:39:00.000-04:002008-07-25T12:39:00.000-04:00I am a big PR fan, but TNFNS should not allow its ...I am a big PR fan, but TNFNS should not allow its stronger ratings performance get undermined by spurious explanations / qualifications. The premiere episode for PR5 was the highest rated premiere ever for the show, so all these explanations about the scheduling change or Bravo neglecting the show has not resulted in a decline in ratings for the show. Again the ratings increased, so if TNFNS had even higher ratings, then kudos to them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368617.post-51172540799501282862008-07-25T11:49:00.000-04:002008-07-25T11:49:00.000-04:00I'm pretty sure Bravo is burying PR, not just beca...I'm pretty sure Bravo is burying PR, not just because of the move to Lifetime, but because they know they have a clunker of a season. It focuses on prima donna fashion designers that are there more for their drama skills than for design skills.

While TNFNS has been painful to watch and most of the viewers just watch the network out of habit, no doubt they beat PR for rating share. That's a no brainer.

Both shows ask contestants to perform absurd tasks under absurd conditions all for entertainment values. Give me a break.

I'll bet PR had way more gay men watching though. And then they go and blog the episode. Runway is moving to Lifetime next season, and Bravo has it's knickers in a twist about it. They don't want to promote a show that soon won't be making them any money.

Hooray for FN, though!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
