Giada Attends Oxfam Party in LA

Italian-American Food Network host and promoter of proscuitto Giada De Laurentiis recently joined Oxfam International as an ambassador for the hungry. I'm not exactly sure of her duties, but she did attend last week's Oxfam party at the Esquire House in Hollywood.

I'd kind of like to see Giada in a dress that didn't look like this, for once... but she looks good. It always seems like Giada's chatting and laughing with people she knows while posing on the red carpet. Whether that's true or not, I guess it's better than being a bad sport.

  3. She's not the beauty people make her out to be, but she looks quite good for her age and having had kids. There's nothing overly revealing about that dress. She's not a nun, you know.

  7. She appears to have a rather large head on top of a small body. Maybe it's the angle of the camera or the shoes or the dress or something. . . . . .

  8. I think she is really pretty, but she needs to adjust her makeup. She is almost 40. She needs to soften her eye makeup and lips.

  9. Totally agree with your comment about her makeup. Giada, remember you are not a movie star...but I do like the dress.

  10. Giada looks fabulous after baby! I don't think she needs to cover up. The dress looks good on her, remember she's tiny and tiny people can look "swallowed up" by some clothes.

  11. Does she now wish to be addressed as "Italian American" ?

I think the Girls at Go Fug Yourself will have something to say about the dress though.

  13. This dress looks sleazy. Not all that appropriate for a charity function unless the ultimate focus look at me.

  14. I'm glad to see FN celebrity chefs using their popularity to bring attention to important issues like world hunger, even if they're wearing the "wrong" dress & eye makeup while they do it.

  15. I would wear that.

Looks good. More "romantic" than "sexy". Go girl!
