Ummm... I guess this is supposed to be funny?

It's kind of like Ina on tranquilizers.

  1. Um...creepy... kind of like Clutch Cargo but without the moving lips. Pish posh to that You Tuber. I am about to take Ina's scallop gratin, from the new cookbook, out of the oven. How bad can that be?

  2. So yeah....that's weird. Looks like Ina had one too many Sandra Lee cocktails.

  4. Lol, Angie. Nice blog you have! I am a Chicagoan, too. Such a great food town!

  5. That was funny. So true. Her show is sooooo lame. Surprised she is still on the network. They keep her but get rid of Mario and Emeril.

Who really cares about anything that happens in the Hamptons? I mean really?
    Her time should be up.

  6. I think it's hilarious. I personally can't stand Ina. I think she lacks personality and has a stick up her butt, all three of them. Not saying her food isn't good. Just hard to even focus on her food because her deliver is as dry as a Martini.

  7. Oh man, I laughed so hard. The dry, lifeless tone matches my mental recording of Ina. And her marginally creative 'inspiration' for her entertaining experience could be verbatim from a script.

  8. She's not an actress, and if she sometimes sounds like she's reading a script it's because... she's reading a script. Which she and her producer wrote. TV is scripted, people -- even a semi-real-time cooking one. You can't ramble for five minutes telling a story when you have to have precise time cuts and camera angles and a myriad of other things. Ina is sort of dry, but her food is great, so who cares?

  9. What do you mean? Rach rambles for 30 minutes.

Ina is one of my favorites and so is her show and so are her recipes.

  11. Ina is the best and the you tube is just mean-spirited.

Above someone mentioned that Mario and Emeril were both dropped from the FN; is that a true statement. What is the scoop on those two and their lack of shows on FN?

  12. I think this is hilarious. Ina is one of my favorites which makes this that much funnier!

  13. Mario and Emeril were dropped because they don't fit in the direction that FN is taking. You know they are real chefs. The "masses" want cake challenges and RR types.

  14. I love Ina...and found this hilarious!

  15. FN should be ashamed of how they treated Emeril and Mario. Without these two, who knows where FN would be be ?

Yes they are real chefs and obviously have standards. I guess they didn't want to be affiliated any longer with FN and the interlopers they constantly introduce and promote as food personalities.

I wonder who is next to realize the FN is one big stinko show ?

  17. Ina gives me the chills she is such a freak -- why does she talk like a crazy person who should be in a padded cell?

  18. Ina,

Disregard folks like these that have no awareness. You are great and I love your shows and wisdom!

    You are TOP-NOTCH!

    Hugs and thank you,

  19. So you think Ina reads this blog and cares what we wrote, but is re-assured by you telling her to disregard us? Now that's creepy.

  22. Stop that irritating laugh/giggle!!
This woman laughs at nothing and drives me crazy! Like the show but just can't watch it anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yup, this is true, can't stand to watch Rach because she rambles for 30 minutes.
Never stops talking. Not sure, does she yell also, or do they turn the volume up on her show?

  24. Rach just wants to be first at everything...she even tries to beat her own self by telling the end of the show before we get there. Ever notice that? Must stem from childhood or SOMETHING!
    I wonder if hubby...well ..I won't go there. LOLLOOOLLLLOOL
