Rachael Ray Talkshow Renewed to 2012

Ya thought she was going away, didn't you?!

CBS Television Distribution has renewed Rachael Ray through the 2011-2012 season.

Rachael's show got the critical support needed from ABC's owned & operated (O&O) stations in key markets, such as New York's WABC:

"Rachael Ray has been a strong performer with viewers and advertisers since it debuted on our stations a few years ago," said Walter Liss, president of the ABC O&O group. "We're now pleased to extend our commitment to this popular series through 2012."

Congrats Rach, I guess. I have to be honest and admit I barely ever catch her talkshow. Is anyone excited by this?

  2. YEAH BABY!!! I am totally excited by this. I have been watching the RR Show since the begining and I LOVE it! So CONGRATS to Rachael Ray! I see many more Emmy's in your future!!

Oh and Dude - it should read: 'KNOW' what that means not 'NOW' what that means. If you are going to waste life time insulting and making fun of someone try not to bring the laughable attention to yourself by making stupid mistakes.

  3. Ummmm.... okay? But she does say "NOW that means..." and not "KNOW what that means..."

  4. Or:
    "Now, what that means is...."

  9. C'mon did anyone actually think the show would NOT be renewed? The show has excellent ratings and the advertisers are very happy. So Rock on Rachael - and Much Luck for another 3 years.

  10. It's a good show. She is helping American moms to save and do creative things. She has many money saving meals and it helps with those families who are in need.

GO RACHAEL RAY! Be true to yourself!

  11. The show is extremely well produced.

  12. I love RR but the show sucks. Thankful for the DVR so that I only see what I want to see. I love that she's making millions off of these "fans".

  13. I'd much rather watch a Rachael Ray talk show than a Paula Deen talk show !

  14. to 11:26 - I'd rather see a talk show where Paula Deen EATS Rachael Ray.

The fatter RR gets, the happier I get... awful, awful woman. have hated her from the 1st season of 30-minute meals. Hot dog salad? Are you F-ing kidding me?

  15. btw Anonymous 3:52 PM, it's Emmys, not Emmy's. Proofread your own entries a little more carefully before you start criticizing others'.

  16. I knew the country was in bad shape
but to renew this drivel is beyond
belief. Seems to be a large audience for her...v scary indeed.

  17. She's not fat and she's cute. Hey it sells. Good for her.

Yeah she's annoying and a liar but who cares?

  18. Why the F is Rachael a liar? What has she lied about? Multiple Emmy's if they are possessive of one winner...? Not sure asking the english majors that write on these boards.

  19. RR is very successful in her own right. I am happy for her. I love her show and I feel she sincerely loves what she does and it shows in everything she does.

    Congrats Rachael!!

  20. Well Said Ann, I agree with you!

    Congrats Rachael!!

  21. (Golf Clap) Yay Rach! Congrats! I have to admit, I dvr it just to skip to the cooking part of the show. It's extremely geared toward housewives. The guests are so-so, tips I could pretty much never use and too much is fit into one show sometimes. I hope she doesn't try and leave FN though I would fall into a deep depression. LOVE RR, (but only on FN). :)

I think Ellen has a way better show. IMO, of course.

  22. ellen is almost more annoying than RR if possible.
    that dancing thing......please....
she gets paid millions for this???

  23. What hasn't she lied about? LOL. I still like her though.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Racheal has lied...? She has always been honest about her training and career. She has never pretended to be anything more than she is so what's left?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wtf has Rachael ever lied about? She downplays her abilities in the kitchen all the time. I agree with anon 2:55 in saying that she has never pretended to be anything more than she is.

And to anon @ 11:49, in saying the fatter that RR gets the happier you get...what a douchey statement to make. I guess knowing you can remain anonymous lets you feel confident in stating whatever comes to your peabrained head. I'm embarrassed for you.

  26. I do admire Rachael for getting this far and never claiming to be a chef or claiming some weekend Cordon Bleu courses make her a chef. In a certain way I admire her self deprecation, especially when you are on a FN full of egomaniacs that think they are the future of food. I do not think she has ever lied about her qualifications and considering her peer group at FN that insist on being called 'Chef" this is admirable.

I do pity her for having to be married to the smurf vagabond husband though. Maybe she is finding solace in the form of ice cream and this is why she is getting heavy .

  27. She doesn't care for sweets. She likes pasta and wine and uses too much cheese in her recipes. And she's not fat. JMO.

  28. I agree with Alex on the Husband thing... Just not getting it - but although he is present and appearing to cash in on his wife's success and the doors Rachael has opened for him... in all fairness we do not know how much he loves her and she love him. I think if John would have had his own life and job we would respect him more.
But when I hear Rachael works 7 days a week and has 5 jobs -- and he looks like he doesn't even bother to groom himself speaks volumns on the kind of "man" he is...
So, Sorry Rach and John if we are way off base about your marriage - but we are just calling it as we see it.

  29. At least her cleavage appears to still be her own and she hasn't let success go to her chest.

  30. I'm so over the whole Rachael Ray thing. I don't even watch her Food Network show why would I watch her talk show. Her hyper-activity is truly annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Good for you Anon 2:09 for just Turning Rachael OFF!! I can't stand the people who hate her yet they feel the need to watch her everyday and bitch about her. I guess Rachael gives something to their very dull lives!!! To those people I say: Get another Hobby! One that is actually productive and life changing!

  32. I can not watch anything Rachel Ray does. She is simply the most annoying, fake person on tv. And what is up with that raspy voice? She must smoke like a chimney.

    ReplyDelete
  33. She actually has medical issues around her throat. She has damaged her vocal cords over time and she is dealing with it, sorta. She should have surgery.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Can't stand her -- PLEASE much too much RR
The minute she comes on anything I turn it off
