Melissa D'Arabian's new show
Ten Dollar Dinners is promising a lot by keeping every episode's meal for 4 under $10... so are we surprised that they saved a bit of money by reusing the same blue tiles from
Amy Finley's 2007 show The Gourmet Next Door?

They were only used for 6 episodes, so what's the big deal, right?
I don't think Melissa gets to make the set decisions..
ReplyDeleteMy first thought when I saw the promo....how cheap can you get, FN.
ReplyDeleteFor $10 to feed a family of four, maybe it's fitting that it looks like she's cooking inside a college dorm bathroom.
ReplyDeleteAnyone want to bet that Melissa gets more than 6 episodes? I'll take the under.
What ever happened to finding YOUNG talent and groom them a la RR? Just another middle-aged, annoying lady with giant teeth.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't WAIT to see how many corners she cuts for these $10 meals. "Well, we used 2 slices of bacon, so that's $0.40" - no, you idiot. You can't BUY TWO SLICES OF BACON.
I bought four slices of bacon today. Find a good butcher.
ReplyDeletethats why she sucks
