Sorry, but I think if you're going to tell this much, you should reveal what happened. Just put a little disclaimer on it that those who want to remain 'surprised' (hah) shouldn't read it. Think of it as a public service - we wouldn't have to waste our time watching this ridiculous show any longer. In fact, I don't watch it any longer, I just read about it here. And believe me, that's E-Nuf!!!
I saw the finale on Food Network last night, oddly enough. I didn't stick around to watch - haven't paid a lot of attention to the season anyway, but found it odd that they were waiting for Flay and a guest at the gondolas at the Venetian.
Unless I'm blind, seems the finale vids are off the site now.
Ok, I'm going to reveal it...let Jacob do what he wants: In a shocking upset, Ina Garten was declared the winner of TNFS. Sadly, none of the three made it to the finale. Lisa slipped on those Bergamo heels in Vegas and fell into a vat of canola oil. Aaron set he would only agree to do the show if he never had to talk and could only make pasta dishes. Adam served raw chicken to Suzie, then started calling her Salmonella Suzie. So Ina was available. Her new show, "Ina Does Indonesian" will explore Southeast Asian foods. You will be amazed how often good mayonnaise has a place in southeast Asian cuisine.
I love it, I think its absolutely perfect, Im sure the twerps that be at FN went hysterical when they realized what happend.
Its just apropau to whats happening on FN right now, thanks Jacob, for the post, I actually read it earlier before you had to remove everything, I wont repeat what you had removed,, but its really funny.
NOT FAIR!! Why did you post this if you were just going to delete it or not reveal???? NOT FAIR!!! Somebody who saw the videos in time please post who won!! If they made the mistake then the info is FAIR GAME!! Somebody please post the winner --- good grief, I'm still gonna watch! What a MEAN thing to do FOOD NETWORK ADDICT!!!!!!!!
I posted it to 3 different websites all within 3 min of each other. I took the screencaps. No one is getting one-upped on anything. If your website shows 11:38 pm eastern time it was a mistake as that is when I posted the info to your site central time (mine). The pics and screencaps were done at 11:30pm central, kinda hard to post them to your site at 10:38 central if I hadn't taken them yet. Not being dodgy just putting the info out there
I don't wanna know who won until I finally see it on tv. But I think someone's getting fired for this. Last time Kelsey's elimination was posted on the FN website too early. They forgot people in the west coast.
Either someone (a now fired someone) goofed and put the info out too early or it's a crafty ploy to put a "twist" into the ending by announcing another winner then the one that was "leaked." But, then... is anyone really that smart at FN?
No, absolutely not. I don't believe for a second they went through the trouble of recording extra footage as a "fake" and are pulling a trick on us. Who has time for that?
Jacob has already proven several times that there are issues with the Food Network site and this looks like yet another one. They need to whip their interactive division into shape!
Good one gregory, I love it! It's easy to find if you google it, folks. Now I don't think I'll bother watching. I know I won't watch the winner's show. Yet another FN "star" I absoloutely can't stand.
Okay... this is getting weird. Someone put up the winner and exit videos last night, then they pulled them, and then again this afternoon the videos were back on the website and now they've been pulled again. Do they know what they are doing at FN?
Just so I thought I was "seeing" things, I got a screen shot just to prove to myself that the videos where back up.
Wonder how many more times this in going to happen between now and Sunday night?
I'm barely computer literate, so I don't understand how the information about the FN Star could get onto the website accidentally, from a technical standpoint. Wouldn't the employee who did it HAVE to know what he or she was doing? The employee must have thought the finale had already aired? Just wondering.
Disappointing FN. I'm, sorry but this is just sad. I mean, 1. Where did they find these yahoos for this season? Dumpsters? 7-11? 2. Really? A mistake? Come on employes. or past employees now. 3. The winner is THAT ONE. COME ON. I would rather that Ina win in an upset. I can hear the theme music already.
Folks I am afraid that FN has lost everything that drew us to it in the first place. They hold these bogus contest, put the contestants through stupid competions, and then pick who every they wanted in the first place. They really don't care what we want, or what we want to cook and eat. In my opinion they are only filling air time. Do they really think we are that easily entertained, or that most views don't know as much as some of the contestants. WE ARE NOT STUPID, SO STOP TREATING US LIKE WE ARE!
I have turned my recipe searh to the internet and good cook books. The FN shows are just insulting.
About the only show I still watch on a regular bases at FN is "Good Eats." Some of the others if I think about it, but I don't go out of my way to watch them.
Since FN has turned more into a "entertainment" channel instead of a "food" channel, I too have turned to reading more food blogs, cookbooks and cooking magazines.
The judges fixed the outcome of this show so that they could pick Aaron. Let’s be honest, he blew it in Vegas and in all fairness should have been eliminated that very show. However, the judges decided to do something that they never did before, which was to keep all three contestants. They did this ultimately so that they could pick Aaron in the end. Instead of smelling the aroma of food, I smell foul play!
I wanna know!!!!! There's so many videos on there I don't know what one has it! Help!

ReplyDeletewell Jacob-you're an awful tease! :)
ReplyDeleteI hate that people know and I don't! Why did you have to tell us this????
ReplyDeleteAll comments by viewers on the judge's blog after July 23 have also been removed!

"In a shocking upset, Ina Garten was declared the winner of TNFS"
ReplyDeletehaha... there is some humor in this after all.
And to use one of your own quotes or something that sounds like she would say "How fabulous would that be?"
ReplyDeleteI can't find it now... I think the videos were removed.

Someone over there can't make up their minds because the videos are back. Duh?!?! They are really screwed up.

If we can't say WHO won, can someone post if the winner is a BOY or a GIRL?
ReplyDeleteThis whole thing has taken up entirely tooooooooooooooo much of my time.
ReplyDeleteI won't watch the final episode and at this point I really don't give a rip who wins.
Wow...I am impressed with this forum...Thank You! for keeping the ending a secret! I sure hope that Lisa wins....
ReplyDeleteI was away on vacation so I have no idea who the winner is....but can't wait until Sunday!
I appreciate you hiding this. I do not want to know until I watch it.
ReplyDeleteIt would ruin it.
This sure has been a wacky year!
I love it tho and can't wait to see it tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteIf you want to know who the winner is, just go to Google, then to the news section, and type "food network star" in the box and search.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't surprised at who the winner is. I knew what/who they were looking for.
Good Lord.
