  3. Politics have no boundaries Jake.

I guess Obama wants to tap into this fan base and grovel for votes.

Especially now since McCain upped his game with Sarah Palin . Brilliant strategy. I 'll expect Palin will be appearing on Rachel Ray's show soon. Making some Alaska favorites, whatever they are.Probably something to do with salmon.or deer.

  4. At first I thought it was the woman from The Apprentice and thought that would probably be very entertaining

  5. I wouldn't think there's a chance for Palin to appear on RR's show... RR is too in the pocket of Oprah - a loyal Obama supporter. It truly is a shame that this world is like it is... why can't we just meet the candidates, look at their qualifications and ideas and make our decision? While I was a Huckabee fan, I was prepared to NOT vote until McCain's addition of Sarah Palin. While she would do an equally great job as Michelle Obama, I am sure she will not be provided the same opportunities... even the Food Network is "media". My apologies for my rant - it just happened when I saw this and I needed to vent.

  6. In that photo Paula Deen looks like a crazy person , or someone who wants to eat your liver with fava beans and a glass of fine Chianti .

  7. I'm with Sean....Gross. Won't be watching that.

  8. I'm not that sure RR is political. She has had First Lady Laura Bush and former President Bill Clinton as guests on her show, and John Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, and a filmed report on Barack Obama...I'm sure people write in to her website and message boards about all these people and more. (Besides, doesn't anyone remember when RR told the story--maybe on the first ep of her talk show--about how Nixon got to be her favorite president? It's not what one might think. It was just after Pres. Nixon made the infamous observation, "I am not a crook!" RR's mom, Elsa Scuderi, whipped off her stiletto, threw it across the room square into the center of the black-&-white TV, and it imploded. Then and only then did the family get a color TV.)

  9. So is she appearing on Paula's Party or Home Cooking? If it's Paula's Party, are she and Pauler gonna do something gross, because all the other guests have to.

  10. i find it hard to believe that Paula would support Barack!!

  11. "i find it hard to believe that Paula would support Barack!!"

I don't. Paula is well known to have an undying love for Mister Jimmy, aka President Carter. I've always pegger her to be a Democrat.

  12. Just because Obama's wifey appears on Big Butter Plates show, doesn't mean she supports him. Cmon.Who is bigger news these days ?Tony Danza?

Maybe Paula will be forced to act civilized and couth and put on a good face while representing the South.

I am surprised she would appear on Deen's show. Hey maybe Michele Obama can get Bobby or Jamie Deen into some type of post secondary education program ? Maybe that is Paula's angle.

  13. I don't know if they would have the McCain campaign on since they were stealing recipes from the Food Network site earlier in the year.

  14. It would be too much to have Palin on RR...that's just too many inappropriate, loud, obnoxious females for one television show...

  15. Oy vey, I thought it was Pauler and Condy Rice! How long will it take gross Pauler to ask her...does Obama beats his meat often....before grilling it?!!! Cackle! Loud Cackle!!!! I hate Pauler now!

  16. Wait! This may be another market FN can tap into. It's the "Let's- Capitalize-On-Every-F'ing-Thing-To-Make-$$$" angle.

  17. I hope this site doesn't become one-sided like Perez Hilton's blog.....

  18. I'll be skipping this ep of Paula Deen's show ...

Her Jimmy Carter love-in shows were hard enough to stomach ... But, this is just scraping the bottom of the barrel ...

RR IS indeed political ... She's done fundraisers for Dems ...

  19. I wonder of she is REALLY proud of her country now?

OMG the media has their heads so far up Barackstar's ass they can't even see straight.

Pray for Mccain/Palin. Anyone who watched Saddleback should know there is no comparison in those two men....'couse when obamassiah loses it will be because he's black

  20. I hope this site doesn't become one-sided like Perez Hilton's blog.....

Well if it dose I will delete this one just like I did Perez'

I am sick to death of the libs shoving their candidates in my face. One ex: Time magazine Obama cover 7 times- Mccain 2.

It's just sickening how the silly media thinks they should pick our president. As US magazine how that's working for them. if you haven't heard the story Google it.

I sure as hell don't need that here.

  22. I love this blog. No matter what your opinion is, I still know it's YOUR blog and you post what you want to. Keep 'em coming. I think you are sarcastically funny and will be reading for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yuck and double yuck!

    ReplyDelete
  24. of course it's his blog and he is free to post what he wants. I am also free to leave if it becomes politcal.

People need somewhere to go to get away from all that crap. I am personally sick of the obamassiah being shoved in my face and don't need it on a food blog or on Food TV.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't really consider posting a picture of Paula Deen with Michelle Obama as 'becoming political.' I'd post Cindy, too, if she were on.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Then what's with all the hearts drawn all over the pic?
I think everyone is getting sick of all the political coverage on all these entertainment blogs. It turns readers off and just starts arguments.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's going to be hard for Paula to NOT ask that pressing question: "Michelle, is it true what they say about black men, you know, in the bed"? Of course, if it's Paula's Party, she probably will ask it. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  28. OH MY!!!! Paul's show just keeps getting worse and worse. I'll bet she doesn't have any other political people on. She is diffently a BO FAN!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Obama is desperate for women voters
and sending his wife out to get some

    Desperate much?

Come on get Gov. Palin in there and she will show Paula how to dress a moose

Now that would be good tv.

  30. I had no idea there was so much ignorance on here. You people should be ashamed. I'm a woman and I'm definitely NOT voting for McCain with his anti-female voting record.

Now, go ahead and say all the nasty, ill-informed things you wish, because I won't be back here. Sorry, Jacob. I enjoy your blog but this is too much. Posting the photo was fine, but people have turned it into such an ugly discussion. I am old enough to have learned that I don't need to subject myself to people whose minds are so closed they will never hear anything different. And from all the comments of "gross", that's just what is going on here.

    Susan

  31. Ah...Susan is playing the race card..what a class act. Maybe the people saying gross were saying gross because they didn't want to see Michelle Obama try to keep it classy with that dirty old woman, Paula Deen.

Personally, I will be watching because I want to see old Paula try to be on her best behavior.

I woner if they'll be cooking bratwurst? Sorry, had to do it.

  33. I am just gratiful it wasn't Lisa Garza...phew ...my eyes were starting to squint at that horrible thought.

  34. Your right Susan, I am a woman too and smart enough to NOT vote for McSame!!!!! Have you all not had enough of the Bush!!!! A woman VP does not change the facts!!!! What if he passes. Is she expected to run the country???? Oh, Right, she is! So, Michelle who has never been proud of her country, interesting. Wonder how proud she will be standing next to Miss Paula when she starts asking her all those leud questions. Let's face it with Paula, she just might.

  35. Just because Oprah uses her show for a political platform doesn't mean you have to Paula!
