Luckily, it's back open for business today!
Please tell me it's not rats!
Nope. According to reports, the building had no hot or cold running water, a broken walk-in cooler, and food that was being kept at unsafe temperatures.
I sure hope those Hearty Boys haven't fallen on tough times!
While they continue to be referred to as "Food Network Stars," their show hasn't been in production for years. They got a water bill to pay, y'all! Help 'em out!

Sorry for the ultra-late post today. It's kind of a letdown post, too. I'll be back on my game sooooon. Until then, continue to debate about Giada. ;-)

its ok jacob!
ReplyDeleteany time i can comment on these two doofi it's a great day....
these boys never rang my bell.....they didn't have what it takes to be on TV. their personalities.....boring.
+ VIVA GIADA!
Are these two still relevant?
ReplyDeletei always wondered how someone who hasn't had a show on the network for a while still be called a "food network star." it's probably written in their contract. ps this would never happen to giada.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered what happened to them!
ReplyDeleteaw man i LOVED their show! They were adorable and I mourn them everyday Saturday morning. sigh.
ReplyDeleteGiada's show tends to be interesting and well-shot but I am sick of seeing her breasts pouring out into every calzone-a she makes. Enough already.
Hated them and their show. They should have killed TNFNS star after the first run.
ReplyDeleteGiada: I never get tired of seeing her show or her "calzone-a's".
Loved their show. Best NFNS winners of the bunch, IMO. Ok, that's a pretty low bar to set, but still...
ReplyDeleteWish they were still on TV.
These two were OK at the time they were on TNFNS. Their show was pretty lame.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE Giada, though.
They acted like a married couple in the kitchen. It was just weird. The dark haired one was definitely the woman!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Giada...classy, sophisticated, excellent!
LOVE this show and LOVE these two! They have EXCELLENT recipes too. I've tried many. I watch them in reruns and still love it. They know how to cook which I can't say for so many of the current folks on Food Network.
ReplyDeletei don't care if they can cook
ReplyDeletethere was just something icky about these two guys.....and i don't mean anything about them being gay either.....just strange.....and off putting.
The water was cut off by the city for maintenance/flushing of mains, and affected the entire street. Do you ever research any of your articles?
ReplyDeleteThose guys had some good recipes. Try their tea sandwiches with salmon egg salad. Yum.
ReplyDeleteThe food they prepared might have been o.k., but they just came across as being so phoney, especially the short one. It seems that he tried so hard to upstage the taller one, and frankly, he was the one I preferred NOT to see.
