Iron Chef: Outrageous Ingredients Week

    I am (probably one of the few) that HATE seafood, other than tuna in oil, out of the can....
    so I never watch ANY cooking shows where they cook with fish......
    blech.........

    Missed sea urchin since I just saw this post, must get dvr to record shark fin tommorow. I've always been curious about all of what you can do with something as plain as sharkfin. Discovery channels sharkweek will not tell me.

    Isn't it the case that many species of shark are endangered because of shark fin soup, where the fishermen kill the shark, take the fin, then throw the rest of the giant edible fish back into the drink? Not cool.

    Watch the movie "Sharkwater"

    I can't believe the Food Network aloud them to cook Shark Fin Soup. It's one of the most cruel and wasteful dishes to prepare.

    SHame on those chefs for contributing to the "Commercial Extinction" of sharks.
