I'm still a bit tired after getting back from New York very late last night, but have so many things I need to write about. It was a very fun festival and I got to meet a lot of people. A bit different from the South Beach Wine and Food Fest, but still enjoyable.
For now, enjoy this video of Paula Deen (plus bodyguards) getting nearly mobbed at her book signing yesterday.
I think I saw you waiting for Ms. Dean's signing in Chelsea Market, but I was too star-struck to say hi and plus I was carrying a bag filled with free Barilla pasta.
Hope we get a post with your thoughts on the festival events soon!
I think the haters on the blog post "rolling into town BK style" should see this clip, and realize for as many people that may dislike ole' Paula, just as many enjoy her.
Jacob, How fabulous for you! You are just delightful and adorable, can't wait to hear more on this.
Interesting video of Paula and quite interesting to see the wide range of passionate opinions on the Southern Cackler. I like her, but in small doses now only (used to be I could watch HOURS of Paula).
"think I saw you waiting for Ms. Dean's signing in Chelsea Market, but I was too star-struck to say hi and plus I was carrying a bag filled with free Barilla pasta."
Hope you mean you were too star-struck by Paula. I am no star.
Awww Frank, there ya go, making me blush! I love the drama, makes me wanna bake a batch of cookies, pull 'em fresh out of the oven, pour a nice, tall glass of milk and sit back and watch the drama unfold! Viva la drama!
I can't do anything but laugh at that, I mean 'ole girl is really somethin', ain't she? Now I used to get all worked up over Princess Prosciutto, Aunty Sandy, Rainbow Bright Guy,and Gravely Rachael Ray to the point of causing myself undue distress and dismay. Then I realized how silly I was because my own life had enough drama sans letting FN peeps add to it. Now, if Im gonna get angry, I just turn the channel but mainly I laugh. Once it ceases to be funny, I turn the channel and come here to amuse myself with the dissenting opinions.
For sure the Queen of Butter can get worrisome (as we'd say down here) but there's something slightly comical IMO about a woman of older persuasion who can be that...hmmm..."free" and profane. When it all becomes too annoying I foucs on something else that catches my attention for a pretty minute.
Love and cookies and thanks for the hearty laugh, picturing that scene is TOO much. :D
How long do you think she will remain on, seems like she is losing more fans by the minute. Her behavior gets old fast. When one is in there 60's, being a lady goes a long way.
Have you noticed that her sons don't seems to be going along with her much anymore.
I just read the blog mentioned above and all I can say is WOW. Who is leading Pauler down this path of self destruction. I use to love her when I first started watching FN several years ago, but now it's like watching a retired porn star. I could only watch a couple of episodes of Paula's Party, and I am by no means a prude. I just don't understand why the powers that be at the nextwork don't curtail her antics, along with those of the Neely's. I must admit that the Neely's make me more uncomfortable than Paula. Rent a room already.
Jenna, I couldn't agree more. Change the channel. Don't watch the show if it bothers you. And if it really bothers you, let FN know you're not watching it and why, don't just spout off here.
To anon @ 3:37 pm, I'll post a comment on every last single blog article on every single last FN personality Jacob has on this blog and you can sit there, stf, and enjoy it you bag of chicken parts!
Hey Chuck man ... Why don't you email or right Miss Paula and tell her that you're her #1 fan ? Tell her that you sleep with her photo beneath your pillow every night while you're having naughty dreams about her ... Hmmmmmmmm ? Maybe she'll send you a pair of her panties that you can live with the rest of your life ....
