Paula Deen, Apparently Now an Expert Medical Adviser, Tells Us to Reject the Myths and "Enjoy a Porkchop Tonight"
So even though Paula Deen has repeatedly refused to comment on the longstanding union issues with pork-peddlers Smithfield, claiming she isn't an expert in union negotiations, she's somehow done become an expert in something else that's causing major trouble for the company she receives a big ole' check from: H1N1, better known as swine flu.
"You can eat all the pork you want. You are not going to catch the flu from eating pork," says Paula.
While this is all fine and dandy (and true -- you can't get the flu from eating pork), it strikes me as odd that Paula would come out now to defend the company when, to use her reasoning, she's not an "expert" in these "kind of issues."
Sales on pork products must be really bad, though. Otherwise I doubt Paula would include this statement in the Smithfield press release:
"'Honey if you want that pork chop, eat it'," Deen said. "In fact, you come down to (my restaurant) the Lady and Sons, and I'll even cook it for ya. And sit down and have one with ya!"

As for Pauler, I was expecting this. She is so willing to speak up with support in order to keep the $$$$ coming in but won't acknowledge the poor conditions under which this company apparently operates. Greed, greed, greed!

It's obvious by the constant negative posts that Jacob doesn't like Paula Deen at all. I'll bet if she invited him on her show he'd be on it like stink on hogsh** acting like her biggest fan!
Paula is turning people off . Her handlers need to tell her to knock her present " schtick " off . LOTS of people dislike Paula Deen because they are simply disgusted with this woman .

Not only is her talk show on hold, but Paula's Party is no longer. Food Network did not pick her up, she says it's because she's too busy but I think they are finally getting smart and not renewing her because of her actions.
From the remarks on Craigslist, people in Savannah are not that pleased with her either!!!

I've met folks from Savanna. She's local joke/disgrace. No locals eat there.
4:16 are her sons looked upon by the people of Savannah as a joke/disgrace to? You see Bobby on her Best Dishes but I have never seen Jamie on. I also have heard that Paula doesn't get along with Brooke, maybe that's why Jamie hasn't been on.

I sure she doesn't like Brooke. The woman has got in between her and her son.
It's really sad, someone who could bring good to Savannah, and started out doing so, now brings shame. Success and money has gone to there heads. Paula acts like trash, Bobby has been reported as really getting into the drinking and Jamie, well, I think Brooke has tamed him.
Anyone hear of any other things they have done to bring shame to Savannah?

I used to like you, but now you have that 'WITCH' laugh that I can't stand and personally I wouldn't want to eat anything you cook because you lick the spoon and put it right back in the food or your licking your fingers and putting them back in the food. Actually that is DISGUSTING, so, I don't watch your show anymore.

Forget the swine flu, the woman's food will kill you first. I mean, anyone who puts fried eggs and mayo on cheeseburgers is a public health hazard all by herself.
The World Health Organization should quarantine her in a lab somewhere.
