  3. Nice! ... I am going to see if the whole episode is on youtube... I don't have the food network & I miss it so much...

  4. "Nice" will never be as beautiful as "Good."

  5. That is hilarious!! NICE work!! By the way, there's something about this new format that I'm not quite digging. I agree with everyone else that is feels a little rushed...makes me miss the "Everyday Italian" format.

  6. Simultaneously funny and annoying. This reminds me of the season where everything was "quick little" as in a quick little stir, quick little chop, quick little mince, and most surprising, "give it a quick little whirl".

Why doesn't her producer STOP her from this?

  7. The video is funny!Giada...you are going down! I really like you but you try way too hard to be something you are not...classic and elegant.

  8. ha ha! I loved it!

  9. I dont understand why everyone thinks this is funny... Although most people dont use nice in every sentence most people overuse the word LIKE. Try listening to people talk and you will understand what Im talking about. So dont make fun of someone when you probally do the same thing with another word. I love Giada and am glad she got a new show, I do feel she is rushed and dont enjoy how the show is filmed (not enough of the food)but I would never make fun of her when she is making more money then I ever will and is brilliant.

  10. Too funny!!

I love it when I read your titles expecting one thing and then getting something unexpected that makes me chuckle as much as this did. I think it's really nice. ;)

Next you should put together a piece with the word 'perfect'. You could have virtually every FN personality in that one. The overuse of that word drives me crazy!

  11. Chill anon 9:44. Lighten up. It's all in good fun. We all need to make fun of ourselves now and then. I love Giada and her recipes but I don't like the new show. She can't handle the new format. She did alot more on Everyday Italian. Did you watch her show on Saturday and then Ina's? OMG. I Ina ROCKS. There is no comparison in which new show I like better!

  12. Dear Anonymous "I dont understand why everyone thinks this is funny,"

    Shut the fuck up.

    Like, yeah.

  13. I think the Addimando family needs to get cable.

Cough up the 25 bucks a month for basic coverage.

  14. yeah baby, giada and NICE
    and Ina and GOOD !!

its funny, my family is Sicilian and everyone ALWAYS said NICE n reference to food....
like, my Pop, (RIP) "I got some NICE ( add your own word here....)....fruit at the store..."
    it's just a Sicilian thing!!

  15. These are all the dumbest comments I've ever read. Nothing else to stir up Jacob?

  16. Why is it getting so hostile here??

  17. Her overuse of the word nice isn't half as annoying as Tyler Florence's overuse of the word beautiful.

Somewhere in the FN training manuals, some genius director tells greenhorns to always describe the ingredients. You can't just call a pork chop a pork chop.It needs to become a "beautiful" pork chop. Right Tyler ?

" Everything is beautiful, in it's own way,

" Rutabaga and creamed celeriac hits the spot on a cold winters day."

  18. Tyler says "fantastic" all the time. You could almost make a drinking game out of it, but you'd never get to the end!

  19. Oh they all have little words they tend to over use but I think it makes them more comfortable as they go. Burell says "big fat" a lot, Tyler says "beautiful" a lot, Guy says "that's money"....etc etc....while Giada did say the word "nice" a tad much, the food she prepared looked yummy. It was a nice chuckle though, Jacob!

  20. Jacob - can you do one of Tyler Florence saying "all right"? I love his food but find it almost impossible to watch his shows after noticing how often he says that word.

  21. N-I-C-E !!!!

  22. Buddha Off the Hook uses the word okay or "kay" after each sentence.
Aside from his usual cliches he uses to act 20 years younger, this bugs the hell outta of me.
    Sort of like Charles.

  23. Sandra Lee says "so simple" all the time to remind us that u only need half a brain to cook her recipies.I Love You Aunt Sandy!!!

  24. wait,she says "super simple",yeah thats it

  25. 9:44

Get a nice cup of tea and mellow out.

AND THEN GET A FRICKIN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. So true. It's like a bunch of high school losers making fun of the pretty popular girl. jealous much?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I do not care for the new format of giada's show. But she is not the only FN star to overuse a word. they all do it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh the jealous card. Puleeze. I love Giada but the defenders of these pesonalities just kills me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm sure that Jacob was just being funny and not ripping Giada.

All of us who watch all of the shows on FN know that every chef/host has their favorite words that they repeat through the entire show. I doubt there is one show that doesn't, maybe Nigella.
