Happy Birthday, Ina Garten!
The Barefoot Contessa herself (I actually don't like when people call Ina that, as it was just the name of the store -- a name she didn't even pick) Ina Garten turns a sweet 61 years young today. Looking good, Ina G!
Perhaps she's celebrating with her famous 5 sticks of butter between the cake and icing coconut cake? I hope so. And I hope everyone from the gardener to the florist, butcher to the fishmonger makes it over for an awesome party. How fun is that?

Well they show her barefoot from time to time when she's out picking some herbs or flowers. I like the name. It's cool.
I totally love her and she's my last connection to FN.
I always make her coconut cupcakes on MY birthday and pass them out all day. They are quite possibly the most amazing anything in the history of food and people grovel at my feet when I make them.
