oh, canada!

i just discovered a whole other world of FN in our neighbor to the north! after perusing the list of shows, i think we here in the states are missing out. case in point:

Billed as "two knockabout aussie chefs" in a "brand new food, travel, and adventure series." wow. the two boys evidently do a little surfing, drive around in a jeep, and even do a little cooking in different locations throughout Australia. how about we drop a few "tasty travels" and start airing this, FNUSA?

here's something you don't see every day on FNUSA, asian food or asian people! her show sounds amazing.

Jamie's Great Italian Escape Hosted by Jamie Oliver
once upon a time, the FN used to show Jamie's show. don't really know what happened. this one on FNCA has jamie in italy in his camper van set out to "regain his passion for cooking." "what will the italians make of him?" the description asks. FNUSA: let us find out!

there's also a lot of the same USA stuff on FNCA-- rachael ray's $40 dollars and tasty travels, alton brown's good eats, (the original) iron chef, giada de laurentiis' everyday italian, and others. no paula deen, however. if you can imagine. if any canadians are reading this, please let me know your take on FNCA and if i can get some tapes of surfing the menu!

jared and i saw the descent last night. not exactly FN related, but it certainly made me lose my appetite. not sure what we're doing today.

gotta run since pauler is on. it's a mexican fiesta. exactly what i think about when i think of southern cooking and paula deen. adios!
