Rest Up for Rachael

Rachael Ray's daytime talkshow premieres on Monday the 18th. Hope you all have your TiVos, DVRs, VCRs and iPods set.

USA Today featured a big spread on Rachael and the show recently with a lot of great pics.

Of course there's some cynical comments in this piece, including a referring to Rachael's signature giggle as a "sorority-girl-during-a-night-on-the-town" laugh. Maybe Rachael would admit to such a comparison. Still, I think Rachael gets more crap than others. I guess Dr. Phil probably got the same criticisms before his show launched.

I was happy to see a few TV people are still getting work on Rachael's show, though:

UPDATE: Jared pointed out to me that the blonde looks more like Judith Light from Who's the Boss? I think that's who I was thinking of:-)

haha... glad to see Elizabeth is getting a part-time job (or maybe this is her cue to exit The View) and ole' Joanna Judith is still at it-- doing something.

The show and set sound pretty cool. I'm interested in seeing if this "lazy susan" the audience sits on is really needed or will end up just looking like a ride at Universal Studios.

The article is good. Check it out. It mentions that 25,000 people have already requested tickets, while the studio seats 115. She shoots twice each day, Tues-Thurs., so I think I have a pretty good chance of getting a ticket.

Right.

All I can say is she does not dress right for her height, weight and age. Very unflattering clothes. Let's see how long it takes for the show to tank.
