Giada on Jimmy Kimmel
Food Network Addict reader Melissa sent me the link for Giada's recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel.
Cooking segments on talkshows always seem to turn into the host getting crazy with the ingredients, drinking any available cooking liquor and generally giving the chef a hard time. And this time was no different!
Giada and Jimmy (along with the crazy Jerry O'Connell) make a "Pop Tart"-like ravioli thing and discuss her new show, Giada's Weekend Getaways.
Of course, Jimmy asks how she stays so slim and trim....

You *so* pegged those cooking segments on talk/news shows. They are always too rushed, and always involve the same inane conversation. Just saw Giada on E Tv earlier this week, and once again she was asked how she stays so thin and cooks. Why doesn't someone ask her why her chest features so prominently in every show. I started labeling this tendency toward "food porn" shows as "Tits and Tarts" <--- I think that sums it up. :-)
and speaking of Ina and her popped collar, I received an autographed headshot of Ms. G herself today in the mail. It's quite glorious, although her collar is covered by peacoat and scarf.
