Burger Bash with Rachael Ray

Happy opening day of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Fest! It's lovely here... oh, wait, I'm still in D.C. I'll be there tomorrow afternoon, though. Can't wait.

Rachael Ray is kicking off the festival with a "battle between the buns" at the Amstel Light Burger Bash!

Chef Jake Linzinmeir will be preparing his BBQ Potato Chip-Crusted Burger with Cheddar, Sweet onion, and Smoky BBQ Ketchup, Chef Linzinmeir arrives on South Beach fresh off the slopes in Park City, UT where he created special Amstel Light-inspired recipes enjoyed at celebrity parties during the Sundance Film Festival.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. tonight at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. Chef Linzinmeir's burger sounds delish (potato chips IN a burger?!).

Guests will hit the beach and indulge in Amstel Light paired with a diverse sampling of mini-burgers from restaurants around the country, as well as burger competition winners and finalists from Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine, NBC’s Today show, and Napa’s 16th Annual “Build A Better Burger” contest.
