Tyler's VD Selections

I'm sure Tyler would love to hook up, but he's a married man now. Hope he's enjoying his first Valentine's Day with his new bride Tolan.

In exchange for not personally visiting any of us and cooking dinner, Tyler has posted his Valentine's dinner favorites on his blog:

Appetizer...
RAW OYSTERS with FRESH CANTALOUPE "MIGNONETTE"(Wine match: Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé 1999 Champagne)

Entrée...
GRILLED FILET MIGNON with SPICY CRAB SALAD(Wine match: Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico 2002)

Dessert...
STRAWBERRY SANDWICHES with BRIOCHE and BRIE CHEESE

Full recipes are available on his blog. Go out, pick up all those ingredients and cook up some love, Florence style.

No chocolate dessert on Valentines day? That borders on sacrilege :)

happy valentime's day! (that typo is on purpose.)

I know... I was surprised about the lack of chocolate!

and, no, amanda... I don't know what you're talking about:-) Tyler is VD-free, I'm sure. Yeah, good luck with those 3-4 extra days in June. Unit #4 got air conditioning, right?

ps- the choco brownies sound loverly. leave me some in your will.

Something tells me someone here is in love with Tyler Florence.
His 911 show is hysterical: helpless maidens in their fabulous million-dollar kitchens who can't tell a spoon from a coffee filter and there's cutie-pie Tyler attempting to show them how to cook. You can almost hear his thoughts: "Ooh- this is yummy!" "yeah -- I got something better for you to chow down on."
