Dinner Heart-Throbable

Have Robert Irvine's chef whites been hiding all this manly muscle from me, or am I just blind?

I've seen a few eps of Dinner: Impossible, and so far, it has been possible. He's cooked on an island over a campfire with Survivor contestants, cooked at the Governor's Ball, and cooked on a moving train... all of this and NO Tom Cruise cameo?

Anyhow, everyone seated there seems pretty focused on the beef running up and down Robert's arms and torso more than whatever's on the plate.

Not really my thing, but I'm glad that they seem to enjoy it!

Actually, he did flunk one mission. In the episode "Infiltrating the CIA,"he didn't get to replicate all of the dishes that the Master Chefs had asked him to do. He also didn't finish on time...I think he was 30 minutes over the deadline.

Jacob, we're all still here, waiting for the next one -- the Robert beef shot was definitely a good filler. :-)

On TV Without Pity, there is big talk about how Ina was flirting with TR ... they are replaying the episode on the 5th, I hear.

On the cooking front, I made Ina's Corque Monsieur last night (with Swiss instead of Gruyere, so shoot me). Mmmmmm good!

uh, this guy still scares me. I haven't been brave enough to watch an episode yet; i still need some convincing. that looks like flourless chocolate cake in the background, though. give me a good recipe for that, and i'll watch. (note how i focus on that instead of the beef.)

His show seems "real" not just fake "made up" challenges.

If you are from the North Florida area Robert Irvine is coming to Pensacola on June 23, 2007.

Check it out!
