A Sugar Rush Can Only Last So Long
This comes directly from host Warren Brown's blog:
Alas, Sugar Rush isn’t taping new episodes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of hosting a TV show to bring everyone closer to the art of baking and creating exquisite desserts. It was really fabulous. Probably the best part about it was and continues to be meeting people from all over the country who love watching the Food Network and are glued to the screen when cake, chocolate or sweets come across the screen! Making people who love dessert feel better connected to one another helps build a community that I’m happy to be a part of. Thanks for watching Sugar Rush and for all of your support. Keep watchin’ there’s fun is in every episode.
I think Warren just hit the FN at the wrong time. His show started right around the time that the network was trying to transition into a more entertainment-based channel. They weren't quite there yet, though. In turn, his show was part cooking technique, part interview, part travel and part entertainment. Unfortunately, none of those parts were very good. The show seemed disconnected.Dang... and here I am gettin' sentimental about a show I never even liked. Somebody get me some Crunchy Feet.

"Eh" -- that sums up my feelings on the show ... I *may* have watched it once or twice. BUt no more travel shows please!

I won't be missing his show or his high priced, dry cakes from Cake Love.
Quelle surprise.
And hello, fellow FN addict! Love the blog.
I never knew when it was on...too bad.
I loved the idea of the show, but I couldn't handle the hair.
