Ina's Friend T.R. Gets a New Woman
I am shocked that Ina's best bud T.R. is cheating on her-- in a Volvo commercial, no less.
The necklace mustn't have been good enough for Ms. Garten. Plus, everybody knowns she's a BMW driver.

Yes, TR is gay but on a larger level let me say I am appalled and shocked that some of you are thinking of the Ina/TR relationship in anything resembling sexual terms, it transcends all of that: It is a "really good mayonnaise" and "really good vanilla" kind of relationship. In fact Ina cracks her eggs and passes them through 3 extra bowls before the mixing bowl for TR just to make extra, extra sure that the egg is not bad, not just physically but also in an emotional way :)
The way to grow to really love Ina is just to watch a few minutes of Aunt Sandy. The other day she did "Japanese" food, at best resembling some pan-Asian thing. But the kicker was when we got to the ludicrous tablescape which was this bizarre mixture of things including FORTUNES. Um, Sandy, sweetie, the fortune thingie is at best Chinese, but invented in America, not Japanese. And heating up some ramen noodles does not a Japanese meal make.
I am just shocked that I recognized TR the very first time I saw the Volvo commercial! I guess I've just seen him cook and eat too many times not to recognize him.
TR is gay? Really? OMG! :-(. When I saw him on Ina's program I fell in love! Damn! He's so sexy and gorgeous.. :-(

Get TR off the BC show. His self serving attitude and plastic personality do not compliment her at all. Why do you insist on inviting all that ego on the show. NO TR PLEASE! It's the Hamptons, he's always having a "friend" over and he never mentions a wife of girlfriend.
FYI...he was also in an episode of Sex In The City....talking to Samantha....
TR isn't gay - at least not publicly. He prepared filet mignon for a wife or girlfriend in an episode. Again, though he may be pulling a Ryan Seacrest, he isn't pulling a Clay Aiken.
First off, Ina knows TR since he was a young teenager, and TR has been modeling for many years in NYC. The Volvo is only one of many that you all noticed. So he's gay, is there a straight man ever besides Ina husband that is on that cooking show. Really!
Who cares if TR is gay? I think he's absolutely gorgeous, and hysterical to watch! The camera just loves him. Everyone needs a friend like TR to keep things interesting - wish he lived near me. He'd be my best friend!!
It isn't TR that is plastic. Anonymous, you need to look at IG herself. Her East Hamptons attitude shows in everything she does and that's not flattering. She may cook okay, but she's out of contact with today's reality. TR gives the show some genuineness that IG lost in the Hamptons.
