How do you say pregnant in Italian?

Giada De Laurentiis is incinta!

People magazine has the scoop & you can watch her announcement on today's Today show.

Giada's baby surprise!
Giada's baby surprise!

Giada seems pretty shocked that this was even possible. Perhaps the hubby has been at one too many Anthropologie conventions lately and not spending enough time with G?

I think Giada will be a great mom. I hope she and Todd are very happy.

PLUS-- now that she's eating for two, perhaps she can take a few more forkfuls of the food she cooks! ;-)

Congrats!

Why does Britney Spears pigging out on fast food make national TV?

Enough said.

Giada'd Babmina (or Bambino) will grow up to be the hottest person in the world barnone.

I hope this doesn't mean she'll be leaving FN! Then it will just be Ina. I love Ina, but c'mon...she looks like Shamu!

WOW! That's so cool that she's pregnant. Oh, I was wondering the same thing yesterday when I was watching her show. She made pizza with squash topping and a small slice and had 2 bites. I would be eating the whole thing.

Does anyone else think that future episodes of "Weekend Getaways" will include the hubby and child?
(No more convertibles unless safe and equipped with carseats, huh?)

I love how that video clip practically turns into an episode of "Weekend Getaways" : "Our next stop in the Big Apple: pre-natal care at Carnegie Institute!"

Marc: it's bambina.

And that pizza is awesome, y'all. You have to try it. (On a similar wavelength, I felt stupid after I watched that episode and the new one that came after than and didn't notice the baby bump.
