Rachael Rayscapades
According to the New York Post's Starr Report, Rachael Ray will tape an episode of her daytime talkshow "completely on ice." The chilly ep will air on Jan. 31 to coincide with the first day of February sweeps.
Rachael, who will enter the show via Zamboni, will also have her guests don ice skates as they cavort around New York's Bryant Park ice rink.

Ummm... what kind of cooking will Rachael do while on the ice? Perhaps she'll just dig a hole and do some old-fashioned ice fishing? I'm sure there's lots of interesting creatures living in the New York City sewer.

Hmmmm......I don't watch Rachel's show, but this one might be worth setting the TIVO.

I'd like to see that...what would RR prepare? Sushi-sicles? Ceviche stoup? (Back in the early days of TV in the 1950's, shows would escape to Florida--largely, these visits would be paid for by the state citrus commission or department of tourism--so an about face of sorts might be interesting.)
She's going to use the ice from the Zamboni to make delish shaved ice. Then she's going to demonstrate how to make yummo popsicles with an ice tray, some fruit juice, plastic wrap, and toothpicks.
What's the purpose of this? What does it have to do with food? Or anything else for that matter. I just think it's silly.
Will there be actual sharks lined up in front of the zamboni for her to jump?

Jordan, I don't know how sharks would survive on an ice rink, but there were animals who can and were there.
