UPDATE: Aunt Sandy Gets Denied by Alford

Sandra Lee just can't get a break!

After I reported that Food Network Test Kitchen's Director/Ultimate Recipe Showdown judge Katherine Alford listed Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee as her favorite show on the "Meet the Food Network Kitchens Staff" site...

... she went and changed it!

I suppose Jamie at Home is a more appropriate choice for someone working as the director of a test kitchen.

Still... poor Aunt Sandy!

Perhaps Alford changes her favorite show every week?

I don't know. If I were Aunt Sandy, I would have rather not been mentioned at all as a favorite show. IMO, it is pretty demeaning to be listed as a favorite show and then have it changed.

Any "food expert" who draws her ultimate culinary inspiration from her favourite East Harlem taco stand might not be the right person to ask. She likes walking thru Chinatown too. So she likes the familair stench of the always present garbage I suppose.

Obviously she really didn't put much thought into her online profile.Hack.

I had no idea that wearing you sweater tied around the waist was back in style. That is until I saw Aunt Sandy's episode this morning. She such a clever and stylish one.

See, that's where many make the mistake. Aunt Sandy is a trend-setter. Remember - even if you are just making scrambled eggs - you must completely re-do your kitchen motif to go with that motif.

Poor Aunt Sandy! A nice cocktail ought to take the sting off.

There are some who find New Orleans cuisine--as produced by Emeril and his compatriots--the cat's pajamas. Of course, you have to ignore the stench of beer in the gutters(some people do not have strong stomachs after downing pitchers of beer while visiting their new favorite Bourbon Street dive).
