Jamie Deen Gets Blogging
Paula Deen's restaurant The Lady & Sons has debuted a new website, and with it a new blog... written by Paula's son Jamie.
Here's Jamie's first post:
I’m a blogger now.
Welcome to our new site and my new blog.
It was bound to happen… I’m a blogger, what ever that is.
So, here goes - welcome to our new web site. After a lot of work by a lot of talented people we are excited to offer a new look to The Lady & Sons restaurant web site. As part of the new experience we are including this blog. I will be checking in every Monday with a new post. If you have anything to share or any questions, leave me a comment and I’ll do my best to talk about them here.
Thanks y’all and enjoy.
Jamie

I think FASCINATING sums that up nicely. Hopefully Jamie will be better than the countless Food Network stars who start and abandon their blogs. Buuuuuuuut, with just a promise to post once a week, I feel like we'll be on the slow train to nothingville before we know it.
Prove me wrong, Jamie!
And if you can't, let Bobby Deen blog!
[Thanks Janine!]

Yes, please, let Bobby post (as long as his first post contains his phone number!)
Ah'm hotter than a jalapeno hush puppy for Bobby Deen.
Oh please, do we need to hear all the lewd and lascivious stuff from the boys who wanted to get road tested by Bobby Deen.
I find Jamie attractive for some reason.....don't hate me for it! LOL!
I'm with you, alec smart! Couldn't agree more.
By the way, just who is that kissing Jamie in the picture?
mundane
What did you see that was lewd and lascivious?
Some things are better left unsaid and outta sight.
Im a trying to keep an open mind here. But it is really hard .
So Jacob, when is FN going to appoint you as their official blogger and pay you to blog about the FN stars and their shows? That'd be something worth reading (see, it already is!)! How do we petition the Tuschman for that?
Judith,
Jake makes too much sense and appears to have quality standards so Lord Tuschman probably isn't interested. Unless he totally takes a right turn and starts brown nosing the FN, perhaps then Jake can join Team Ferengi.
Why did FN give away the Deen Brothers show to the Neely's anyway?
Bobby may as well start blogging. I suspect he already spends a lot of time online if you know what I mean.
What do you mean?
Alec, you are toooo funny! roflmao :)

Sorry, hon, that closet door done blew wide open and there's no going back.
Because the Deen brother were boring. I like the Neely's. A little over the top sometimes but I like them. Pat is a doll.
Jamie & Bobby gave up doing Road Tasted because Jamie didn't want to be away from his wife & son for so long. There was talk that Bobby would continue doing it with another co-host but apparently that did not materialize.
I thought the Deen Bros. were a little over the top with their comments about the food but at least they were great eye candy. I can picture the Neely's being even more overzealous. I'll reserve judgement until after I see a show, but I don't hold out much hope for liking it.
Sorry, hon, that closet door done blew wide open and there's no going back.
Amen, Robert!
As for Jamie's blog: I give it four and a half months. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I just get this feeling he'll be the latest in that aforementioned looooong string of FN Star unfinished blogging projects. Though who knows? The Deen boys are hip and with the new technology, right? Jamie could carry it off. I just don't think he will. It's that celeblog curse.
"that closet door done blew wide open and there's no going back"
When did this happen!
Jamie, Bobby, Brooke and Little Jack, just wondering if y'all are getting ready for the cruise? I sailed with y'all last year and had such a great time that hubby and I will be sailing with y'all again!! :)
I have met with Bobby, Jamie, Paula and Michael at a small fan gathering. They are great folks.
I think the reason some FN stars stop blogging is because some posters feel the need to be offensive. Can't we keep this clean?
Oh yeah there are out guys on FN of course Bob Tuschman and his lover Gordon Elliot.
Thanks for the flowers guys.
