Food Network Addict Contest: Win Brand New Charm City Cakes Stickers

Charm City Cakes has teamed up with Mrs. Grossman's to release a line of stickers inspired by the custom cake creations of the Baltimore-based bakery behind Food Network's Ace of Cakes.

And considering Duff's cakes start at $1000, these stickers sound like a mighty fine way of enjoying those cakes until the fortunate day you actually order one.

You can win a set of the entire sticker collection—12 stickers in all, including:

· Bong Bong Cake
· Animal Cracker Cake
· Side of Fries Cake
· Topsy Turvy Cake
· Pretty in Pink Cake
· Blue Blooms Cake
· Froggy & Friends Cake
· Sock Monkey Cake
· Oh Boy! Cake
· It’s a Girl! Cake
· Elegant Swirl Cake
· Wildflower Wedding Cake

To enter, just e-mail me at foodnetworkaddict [at] gmail [dot] com with the name of the Todd English restaurant in D.C. that Duff worked at right before heading to Baltimore to open Charm City Cakes. [Hint: answer is on the Charm City Cakes webpage]

I'll pick winners at random next week. Good luck!

UPDATE on 8/3: Congrats to Danielle of Bristow, Virginia! She was the winner of the Charm City Cakes sticker pack. Yay!

Not impressed at all. If it were for a charitable cause, no problem, but it doesn't appear that way and looks like another FN personality is just trying to sell us more junk. And stickers are junk.

What's next ? Duff Goldman cake mixes and decorating sets ?

I'll bet Mrs. Grossman put up ahard sell too, as business might be slow in her other sectors.

I was so excited to find a blog dedicated to lovers of the food network, but am VERY disappointed in it's readers and the comments being written. This blog has become nothing but a medium for people to degrade the networks employees and belittle their marketing choices.

Jacob, I applaud you for sharing your love of the Food Network. You obviously are someone who appreciates the talent on the network.

And, to all you negative bloggers...........you should share all of your "sound and genius" marketing strategies with us since you are so quick to judge those of others! Let us judge you! Grow up!

Jacob, you mentioned going on a cruise a couple weeks ago. What cruise line was it? I went on a cruise the same time. Mine was Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas July 12-17. We sailed off at Ft. Lauderdale and ported at Grand Cayman Islands and then Cozumel. If you were on my boat that would be pretty darn crazy.

Rachel--I was on f-ing Carnival:-/ I'm sure yours was much nicer and lot less "bad 70s vegas" style. We did stop in Cozumel, though. Perhaps on the same day. Hope you had a blast!

Great promos! I think they're super cute and work with the playful vibe Charm City Cakes puts out there. I used to love Mrs. Grossman stickers when I was a kid . . . and still occasionally buy them now.

Ace of Cakes is on WAAAAYYY too much. How really cares about sheet cake artists from Baltimore? The icing stuff all looks like freakin play-doh. I keep thinking the bakery is a tatoo parlor.
