Rachael Ray talkshow Has Big Jump, States Obvious

Some people think Rachael Ray talks too much. Well guess what -- she's not going to stop talking, and this line from yesterday's Broadcasting & Cable, proves it:

"Rachael was also the only talker to not decline year-to-year."

Of course "talker" refers to the Oprahs and Dr. Phils out there in talk show land and "decline" refers to ratings. Rach's show jumped "13% to a 1.7 live-plus-same-day national household" for the week ending Aug. 10.

Still, don't expect Rachael to ever stop talking.

If you listen to her voice, I'm not sure she'll be able to talk for very many more years.

Keep on smoking, bitch...

^ hahahahahahahahaha. Hilarious. Smoking and shouting everything at the top of your lungs doesn't do much for a woman's voice.

Isn't a 1.7 rating absolutely tiny?

It isn't tiny for a daytime talkshow like hers.

I have actually never seen her show, but the promos for it always look pretty good to me.

She might consider having her vocal chords checked for nodules. You can't scream like that for years and not expect damage. And one of these days she's going to drop from sheer exhaustion. She needs to take a break and let someone else run the RR cottage industry for a while.

I'm known as a an incessant talker, to the point where my family truly can't stand it! I talk so much, even I can't remember half of what I've said.
I watched her first show for about 20 minutes, not believing that she could "out-mouth" me....can't stand her!

I don't care for the show much but I tape it for the cooking segments. Most of the other stuff is very lame.
