Giada Makes Faces at Pink Party
Those pesky red carpet paparazzi. Always making demands to the stars.
I guess at a certain point you just give in, though, like Giada De Laurentiis apparently did this past Saturday in Santa Monica at the 4th Annual Pink Party benefit for Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute.
1) "Giada! Smile for the camera!"
2) "Okay, now pose with your hand on your hip!"
3) "Okay, now act like you see someone to your right!"
4) "Wait, that first smile wasn't big enough. Can you try it again?"
5) "You can do better than that!"
There you go!

I was in New York City over the weekend. Stayed right across the street for Mario Batali's Babbo Ristorante, but didn't get a chance to dine there. Sigh... maybe next time.

What is she doing? Weird.
She's in fabulous shape for a woman her age, but her looks are way overrated. Her head is freakish -- it's at least two times too big for her body. With her set lights blown out till they're almost melting her hair, she can look good on her show head-on, but that's about it. It's funny that she gets so much praise for being so beautiful when the truth is she's incredibly ugly.

Anonymous 11:37....my, my, so judgemental. If you walked the red carpet and your unflattering pictures were posted I wonder if someone would call you "incredibly ugly". People are so mean. Those perfect teeth and glowing skin make Giada gorgeous to most.

You can see baby Jade from a couple months ago on msnbc.com when Giada co-hosted Today. She's precious but I think she looked like her husband in those pictures!
i am shocked giada has not been approached to be a spokeswoman for some major toothpaste brand yet.......

All of you "I love her food" people need to realize that she has recipes developed FOR HER. She doesn't even come up with the majority of those recipes. Get a freakin' clue.

I love Giada but those last 2 pics remind me of the movie "Cabin Fever", when the blonde was the first one who got the flesh eating disease 1st and they put her in the shed to die and her flesh from her face had fell off and her mouth looked like a big cheesy smile, all teeth cuz the flesh had fallen off. It's a known fact that almost all FN personalities DON'T come up with most if not all of the recipes for their show. Where have you been? Jeez.....

I think Giada is very beautiful and I doubt that any posters on this site look better than Giada. It is amazing how much nerve being at home behind a laptop gives us.
Getting your picture taken on a red carpet I can imagine would be maddening. People are snapping away with their cameras and you just try to keep smiling.
As for her smile. Every picture I have seen of her as a child has shown that same smile. She doesn't make it up, she just has a big "teethie" smile. I wish I had that many lovely teeth in my mouth.
Give the girl a break.
