I miss some of those guys in the picture. That picture would have been when? 2005.

Oh yeah, Please no more Food Network Star. This last one was painful enough. After the first couple of weeks you realize that whoever wins, the viewers will lose.

this show is SO O V E R anymore

there is NO originality, spunk, or cutting edge anything on FN anymore.....
they just keep producing more and more recycled CRAPOLA......

so sad.
so unnessa !!

why must they subject us to this torture again and again when it is so transparently BAD??

Like on American Idol, probably Bob and Suzie won't be there. (Loads of "producers," probably.)

The black lady is Sandra Pinckney, host of food finds. It ran from 2001-2005. You can still catch it on Fine Living Network.

Maybe FN will get the hint and send the cast to Exile Island. Can't you see them all living in huts, foraging and serving to Canibals -- all raw since they can't get their fire started, and they have to swim to get to hair and makeup????

I just MIGHT tune into TNFNS la Survivor.

little ol' liz: that's a great idea, i would definitely watch

Not again! Is there no God? How many pseudo-celebrity chefs do we need?

I don't think I'll be watching this mess again. I hated how they had already picked Aaron as the winner just a few episodes in.

The contest isn't fair and Bob and Susie are complete f*cking idiots. I only wish I could get back the hours I wasted on this crapola.

Enough! The last two winners are crap!

Stick a fork in this show, it's done!

i think we all need to tell bob this on his new stupid blog......

Loved the show. Lover the winner. FN needs some color. If you don't like it change the channel.

In the name of all the syphilitic cherubs in hell...
Don't let "Big Daddy" be one of the judges....

At 9/26/2008 11:55 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Of course you will see Big Daddy as judge on the next FNS.

Hadn't you heard ? Aaron McCargo Jr is one of America's foremost experts on the culinary arts and since he is on the FN payroll, they gotta utilize him.

By then , he may have familarized himself with staples like chipohtay, ruffle oil, arhruhgular, some dried tomatoes, sweetbreads etc..

Seriously, if he appears on the show as judge or "mentor" I'm tossing my TV into the river for good. I'll take up reading again.

LOL

I love you Anonymous 11:55 a.m.

Hi All,

My name is Ruprecht and I figure I can win this show cause if a guy like McCargo can , then I sure as hell can too.

Just need to tell me which demographic group ain't watching and I'll do the rest.

Maybe I can appeal to the feeble minded and do feeble food as my Point of View and attract all sorts of bottom feeder advertising types to sell feeble products.

Are the learning impaired part of a demographic group ?

At 9/27/2008 8:16 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

after the obvious fix of last season i won't be watching.....

At 9/27/2008 1:51 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ruprecht is right.

The entire production of TNFNS jerks around with many talented people who are proud of their culinary ability. They are sincere and have their hopes dashed when they are sent home because they don't fit the desired demographic. Why can't FN just hire the demographic and forget producing a show that just screws with people in a "contest" scenario? Do they think we find this entertaining?

I'm sure the potential contestants waive all their legal rights before the show begins so they can't sue TFN for all the dishonesty and backroom editing.

I will not be watching this because it's too difficult to see good people treated so badly.

At 9/28/2008 12:09 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I agree with with Ruprecht too. It was obvious Food network wanted a boogaloo to win so they let this dude "win".Shameful when so many other talented contestants were sent packing.

I'd sue the fuckers. Garza or Kelsey would have worked just fine, but they chose Mr Otay Chipotay.
