Oprah's Birthday Message to Rach: 40s are Yum-Oiest!
Rachael Ray's 40th birthday was celebrated yesterday on her talk show in a special episode featuring a performance by Rosie O'Donnell and her Broadway Kids, a One Day at a Time reunion with Valerie Bertinelli & cast, and a personal message from the headmaster herself, Oprah Winfrey.
And in "strangest use of an adjective commonly used to describe stew or someone's midsection" news, Oprah said the 40s are "chunky."

It's also the most fun you've had so far in your life, according to Miss O. (I'd have a lot of fun too if I became a billionaire in my 40s.) The "Yum-Oiest" time!
Well, Rachael did pull in $18 million last year, a hefty chunk of that coming from her Oprah-backed talk show that's produced by Harpo Productions.

I saw her new shows and she looks as tired, alot heavier and the worst hair cut I have ever seen. She looks like a old lady. The shows are AWFUL. I just don't get it. If I new I was on TV as much as she is I would be alot more aware of my weight and look. She is just tired and I think she needs to stick with FN and 30 minute meals. The shows are the same stuff everyday with just different ideas added to it. She looks really uncomfortable.
oprah should be forbidden to put any one else she likes in any tv show.....1st dr phil, the annoying phony doctor, then rachael 'can i get any more in your face' ray....

The intense criticism and hatred leveled at RR at every mention of her name is almost charming in its regularity.
Yes, she's overexposed. Yes, she doesn't seem very happy with her busy schedule. But, really, she's harmless.
I think there's a good dissertation in what she must represent to the hater crowd.

Your not on tv so you don't need to be concerning yourself with that notion. Your a slob which is why you aren't on tv and why you post anonymously. Why is her look such a concern to you? Who the f**k are you besides a low life piece of s**t anyway, critiquing Rachael Ray? Let's see your mug and full body shot and let us ALL on here criticize your dogface. i used to loooove RR. i mean i loved her. but once she got her show, her squeaky raspy voice started getting on my nerves. then once she started laughing at her own jokes i realized that maybe i just couldn't take her anymore. she's become quite obnoxious. i'm with anthony bourdain on this one. she needs to go.
i won't argue that she's a smart business woman-or at least has smart business people working for her, but i am so over RR and Oprah.

Thanks Simon for the comback to Charles. I think you hit the nail on the head regarding Charles. He diffently has major issues about Rachael. He probably does stalk her. Oh and he uses some nice language. What does that tell you about how much class he has!!!!!
RR seems like a very nice person but not interested in 30 min meals anymore. The nonstop talking stesses me - Giada and Ina are so relaxing to watch.

Ummmmmm because I always stand up for RR why does that make me a stalker? It pisses me off that people bash her, particularly her appearance, when she looks great. Who's physical appearance doesn't change over time? And her new look certainly is NOT drastic like the majority of you make it out to be. BTW, anonymous @ 11:33, maybe someone needs to hit you on the head with a nail. I can curse until your mom comes home but I will still have more class than you anyday baby. TRUST! Some of these comments ARE mean hurtful and lame. If Rachael looks tired it may be because she's working her ass off and thankfully doesn't have time to read the hateful blogging
Charles the truth hurts I know and its called anger management which you need to address. Its only a cooking show blog. You may end-up in prison taking your anger out on the wrong person at the wrong time. There are people out there to help you.
You need the help cause you have the anger.

FYI all you people freaking out over RR. If you go back and read these blogs you can see who really has the anger problems. Newsreporter in my town went to interview RR on her set. When she came back she wrote on her blog RR was very rude and short with any questions she ask. BUT when it was time for the show to start and that camara was on her she was a totally different person. Does anyone on this Blog really know RR Well maybe Charles does that's why he gets upset. Like I said go back and read all the other blogs on RR looks like there are alot of people angry at RR. Don't single out just one blog and freak on that person. RR is just so overworked and it is back firing on her.
I am not sure whether we should medicate, castrate or incarcerate our Buddy Charles.
The boy sure does sound like he can go off at any time. He is getting his panties all shoved up his butt over a few innocent RR comments. I would be notifying the sheriff in Charlie's home town and put em on notice, if they aren't already wise to him.

I have to admit you guys are right I did go a little off on my previous post to that anonymoose bash against RR. I apologize. I think it's my Italian temper I do fly off the handle. I had a customer call me an a**hole today and I was nothing but nice to her and that sent me over the top and I went off on her. Thank you to the anonymous who defended me though! Nuthin' but love for ya! Just leave Rach alone and I'll keep a cool head. To anonymoose @ 3:44pm, I don't know her personally but I just can't imagine her being rude. You sound like you are in excruciating pain and need to seek help. You sound misguided.Maybe your Italian heritage is playing into your angst. I can see how traditional Italian beliefs would never embrace such cockeyed, leftfield kooks like you, but it does help us understand you better.
