Thanks Jacob! I hope that people who criticize Guy left and right will step aside and let people who actually enjoy his show have a chance at this.

Guy Fieri does a good job on Diners,Drive-Ins & Dives and pays proper respect to the people the show features. The program is quite enjoyable to watch. I think he just needs to get a quick refresher course from Ms. Manners on eating and talking on camera and he won't draw as much criticism.

This is awesome. I'll be linking to this in my next local news/blogs posting.

I'm running a contest for charity myself, right now. Check it out if you get a chance:

DDD is one of my favorite shows on the Network. If Ina Garten were not on, it would be at the top of my list. You can tell he really gets to know the folks who are showcased and they have a good time taping.

I have to agree with Will. I love Ina too, but DDD is a fun show to watch and you can tell everyone there is having fun too. It's mindless tv and we all need a little mindlessness from time to time. I think people tend to come down hard on Guy, but I really don't think he takes himself seriously either.

I have to admit I do get hungry while watching DDD!

I liked it at first but now I'm bored. I actually like his cooking show better, but that doesn't seem to be on 29 times a week like DDD.

I'm so tired of seeing him and all the other people on the show stuffing huge bites of food in their mouths. Now that we have HDTV, it is even more gross.
The show used to be my favorite but I'm sick of watching people chew up close and personal.

No way. He hasen't made ONE recipe I am interested in making.

Anon. above---Well I am thinking they are not his recipes, but recipes from the restaurants he goes to.

How tall is Guy Fieri ?

Here is guy who stands a very good chance of becoming a human bowling ball. His man boob problem must be causing problems now.

Mr Fee-Edddy, you need to get yourself to a spa or do a few hundered situps and pushups a day.

You won't be an adorable 350 lb food show host.

I really enjoy Guy as host of the show, and when he was competing as a host for Food Network...he was my #1 pick! He has actually done a show from a great diner only 30 minutes from me (for over 30 years!), that I didn't know existed!

I love DDD!!! Makes our mouths water just to watch. We are taking a cross-country trip (North Dakota-Florida-Texas) this winter and hoping to find interesting places to eat along the way. Anyone know of a web-site or book that would highlight eating places in our path???
