New Giada at Home Promo

Thanks to all of you who sent me the link!

My internet has been kooky today, so I apologize for not getting things up sooner.

HEY- Who is going to the NYC Wine and Food Festival? Anyone? I will be there, but only for the Saturday and Sunday events. Someone should go to Chelsea After Dark (hosted by Bobby Flay) tonight and tell me what happens. Wish I could be there!

Don't we all wish we can live the California lifestyle?

California, California, California!

I can't afford to live their Giada!

Looks like a summer show...why they showing it in the fall/winter? Silly FN people, lol!

Everything about the new Giada show is undoubtedly beautiful . But , I still say it's inappropriate in these devastatingly bad economic times . Shows of egregious consumption and incredible wealth are hard to take for some folks .

I'm attending the Grand Tasting event on Sat afternoon b/c that's about all my wallet could afford! The Burger Bash sounds kinda awesome actually and I definitely want to check out that weird Illy folding house thing.

However, those annoying email newsletters they keep sending about the event, where little to nothing is updated but they still feel compelled to send it again? That's making me mad.

I love all things Giada and this show looks like it really is going to spotlight her as much as the food (no matter what the promo says about the food coming front and center). I can't wait to see it!

Can she show us how rich she is? Oh, she does? Cool.

Yes, we know you are rich and living the best california lifestyle. But guess what..Rachael Ray is way more richer than you and your film family combine together! It must bug you...since you are always comparing yourself to Rachael Ray. Also, Ina is way better than you!

I CAN'T WAIT to watch Giada's new show. Yes, times are bad and the rich live in excess but Ahhhhh, what a nice escape. I love her!

I watch Giada's show for almost the same reason as Ina's, escape from every day life only to dream of living the lifestyle they have someday. Looking forward to a new set/surroundings and Aunt Raffy is always a good thing to keep Giada in her place :)

J- you gotta change that pic of Paula in your header - it's very unflattering! LOL! Why not put Ina and maybe a gentleman up there? There's Alton, Michael, Marc, Guy, etc....

I will be attending a few events at the NYC Wine and Food Fest. Last night's kick off event, Chelsea Market After Dark was great. Like many of the events at South Beach, it did have a madhouse feel happening at times but the big crowds evened out quickly. Chelsea Market has great atmosphere for a party even though it has narrow walkways. The food was better then 90% of the food I have had at SOBE's Grand Tasting. I had really great shrimp and grits from the Food Network kitchens. A few Food Network stars were hanging out and mingling with the crowd for a bit...I saw The Neelys, Guy Fieri, Anne Burrell, Giada (for about 2 seconds) and of course host, Bobby Flay. Bobby was hanging out for most of the night at a food station for his new Bobby's Burger Palace. He signed lots of autographs, took pictures, handed out burgers and margaritas and was calm and nice to the at times overwhelming crowd...a real class act.

Tonight I'm going to the Burger Bash and my weekend is filled with demos by Alton, Paula, the Neelys and a Guy TV filming that I'm only going to in order to see the Food Network studios and kitchen.

My life, my baby, my home...Me, my, mine! Ack! Sick of self-absorbed Giada.

This looks like a reality show to show people how wonderful her life is. Isn't there enough shows like that on TV? Reality Shows Suck!

I'm looking forward to this show just as much as I'm looking forward to Ina's new shows. Giada is reppin' for the West SIIIIIDE while Ina holds down the East SIIIIDE! Aunt Raffy be the Hollaback Girl! I don't feel these shows are to rub what they have in our faces. Yeah times are bad but even when they are good the majority of us can't roll with the likes of these fieeerce ladies. And Kim is right. The shows are a nice escape from the mundane.
