Rachael Ray Hosts Burger Bash at NYC Wine and Food Fest
They say the third time's a charm, but that old adage didn't hold true for me this past Friday when I missed Rachael Ray's Burger Bash... for the third time!!!
The celeb-packed event was one of the hottest tickets at this past weekend's New York City Wine and Food Festival. Despite the $200 ticket price, fans of Chefs/People Who Cook David Burke, Tom Colicchio, Katie Lee Joel, Al Roker and more packed into Brooklyn's Tobacco Warehouse under the Brooklyn Bridge for a night of eating and drinking (Blue Moon sponsored the event). The big prize of the night went to Mrs. Joel (ZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzz).
Looks like it was a very fun time.

I wish I was there too. Rumour has it Ms. Joel made a grilled cheese. Also they are now neighbors in the Hamptons and hang out so it was fixed. You know the tabloids.
RR is such a doll. John just seems gross (not just grossly rich-lol). Poor guy just needs a little polishing and he might be OK.

John did use to appear more clean cut, when they first go together. Now is looks a little greasy to me. Maybe that's the style for musicans/lawyers now. Gross.
Rachael's husband looks okay..I guess he looks better than Giada'a husband, Todd. Not as old looking.
At least he is a more successful than Giada's husband. He is just some sort of pattern maker/"designer"

For the record:
Giada's husband is NOT a fashion designer. As we know this woman is into titles, so she labelled her husband a fashion designer when in actuality, he is a patternmaker/merchandiser and while this doesn't sound real glamorous, patternmakers usually out earn designers by a large margin. Just doesn't sound too illustrious for Princess Pancheeta.
Rach could have have called her creepy husband a rock star, but instead left it to the masses to decide. The man should stick to his dayjob or just continue to suck Rach dry. He is a short little unattractive man. Creepo.

Well I have to give Rachael credit . She maintained the dignity to refrain from initiating sex with every man with which she came into contact . Unlike her FN colleague Paula deen .
I guess we will have to wait until her tell all book to find that out. I heard some of it will be juicy. I love sex but I don't love Paula at all.

Yes, agree that Giada is into titles. It is what it is...at least Rachael is helping the hungry kids or homeless pets with her foundations. Her husband is at least smart...Todd, not too sure. I do like Giada and Rachael but think Giada is a little too fake.

Yep her husband is GROSS, GREASY, AND NEEDS TO SHAVE. When she first met him he DID NOT look like this. YUK!!!!!! Why is he always on her shows????? What does he know about food, cooking etc. and who cares.
Give me a break...Paula's husband is always on her show too. So does her sons. Todd is always with Giada, on the today show, her travel show and now her new show. Bobby's wife has been on his show many times. It's called FAMILY!

I honestly do not think smoking was a major factor in Rachael's vocal cord issues. She is in a business where she talks and yes she can get a bit passionate when she talks - which put her over used cords in stress -- and I do not think Rachael gave them time off to recover - but I am sure she is doing that now... I hope and pray she will be okay and make taking care of her voice a priority.

I agree anonymous 9:27AM ... I enjoy differing opinion and viewpoints...A blog that contains nothing but people that always agree is just tiresome and monotonous . And , hard to read because it is boring and offers no stimulation or excitement !
I agree I do like the spirited discussions on the blog as well- but I just hate it when they are so cruel to Rachael. It broke my heart when they were happy to hear of her illness so she would shut up. To me that is crossing a line of hate. I don't care how much you dislike someone- in my opinion it is not okay to feel happy when anyone gets sick. You are in our prayers, Rach.

Secretly I like the haters too and I enjoy reading everyone's opinions. I just feel like I have to respond when the bashing gets to be too much. I actually feel sorry for the RRsux community.
The RRsux community spend so much time on Rachael... watching every show she is on-- combing the internet for anything written about her... I sware they spend more time on her as a hater than I do as a HUGE FAN!!! LOL Rachael is passionate, fun - has a wonderful smile and a contagious laugh... she makes me laugh and I have become cooking friendly as a result of Rachael Ray... That is crazy... they seem to be a match made in heaven... they both love food and he is able to put up with her fame and schedules. He doesn't seem to mind being known as Rachael's husband... I love RR but I would Never buy a celebrity endorsed product. That's just me.
I have many RR items and they are great- they hold up well and are affordable and they add happy colors to my kitchen. I just bought her Bubble and Brown bakeware and it is AWESOME. GO check it out... will make a great holiday gift... and no I am not pushing RR products- I am just very happy with all the RR products I own and use everyday :)

I love Rachael Ray too! Hey has anyone heard if she is doing her coast to coast book tour this Dec. I know I read about her surgery in early Dec... I was thinking maybe this year she may not do it... or shouldn't at least. But you know Rach- ever the worker bee... Anyone heard or seen dates?
The new RRSux site has alot more going for it than just snarking on Rachael. And it is primarily a humor site and not a bunch of haters. I think they're really funny and Hoohahville is a hoot! They're on live journal and the community is called boardoutmind. Just google it.
