Which Food Network Star Has the #1 Book?
Well, isn't it obvious who would have the #1 book in Amazon's Cooking, Food & Wine category?
In addition to having the #1 book in this category, Ina Garten's Back to Basics is #16 overall! She's right above The Story of Edgar Sawtelle-- an Oprah Book Club pick! If you're beating Oprah, that says a lot. She'll have to go Kry in her Kindle, now.
Guy F'deddy, Jamie Oliver, Giada De Laurentiis, and Ellie Krieger also have bestselling books in the Cooking, Food & Wine category. Why isn't my boy Tyler Florence up in there? He's got two books out right now!

I'm happy it's Friday, but it's been rainy and gray here in DC ever since I got back from Chicago on Tuesday. True, it was rainier and grayer (and MUCH colder) there... but still. At least it's Friday.

i bought the barefoot book and it is her best yet!
Ina's book is fantastic! I think I know why Tyler's books aren't on there. They are laid out like magazines and then organized by meal. I don't like that at all.
I'm sorry but the BIG ORANGE BOOK -- rocks !!! Rach's best ever book!!!
I have Ina's book and it is great. She writes just like she speaks.

Not much of a RR fan - I barely recognized her from the photo on the book - did dhe have some work done or is it just creative air brushing?

Speaking of Ina, we'll all be watching on Wednesday night to see her thanksgiving desserts show ... with a certain special guest we all might know. hmmm ?
Tyler's first cookbook, Real Kitchen, is my favorite cookbook! I have not seen his newer books yet but I do love TFlo and his cooking style.
Tyler's books may have split sales between them, thus giving them lower sales than if he'd just put out one book.
Whatever happen with the give away on Guy's book? Never saw anything about winners... or, did I miss it? :)
As for Ina and RR... Ina any day of the week! Got my copy on the way to me.

Ina Rocks. I love Ina. All class compared to the trailer trash RR. Ina is real. RR is all about the brand. She doesn't cook that crap at home. Come on people. It's an act.

Puh-leez. Ina's new book is NOT all of that. Beautiful book, yes, but there are a lot of lame recipes in it. She could have come with better than that. As far as Rach, I adore her to no end but even I'm getting sick of recycled recipes. I'm tired of 30 kinds of sloppy joe's and shepherds pies. Even Giada's book was just OK. I dunno, I'm bored with a lot of the FN staples lately. None of the new shows are that spectacular either. Sorry to be so negative here but that's my opinion.
35 bucks for Ina's book ---- NOT! So she can pay for her snotty house in the hamptons!
