OMG, enough of this show. I'm sorry. The first few seasons of this show were fun to watch, but I'm done with the whole "let's see what crazy-sexy-cool cakes they make THIS week" thing. I'm ready for, like, "Ace of Enchiladas," or something.
I am kind of getting bored with the show too. I used to love it, but it is all the same thing now.
I'll pass but thanks anyway.
Oh goody, we get to see how many new tattoos the crew got since last season.

I didn't think dissing "Ace of Cakes" was allowed on this site. I never really watched it much, but I find it appealing enough to check in once in a while. Sometimes their personalities get on my nerves -- they seem like that pack of geeks in high school who got high all the time and had their inside pop-culture jokes and disdain for everyone, who acted like they were better than everyone else when it was really just a kind of insecure insularity.
I need to shut my Ace of a Cake-hole, and stop insulting Mary Alice

People! Good Gravy, what is *up* with all the green-meanie-ness? We're all here at this blog cuz we are thankful that a wonderful thing called "The Food Network" exists, right? Cant we keep things nice?
I've never heard any of the Ace of Cakes crew say a nasty or ungracious thing about anyone else in all the days i've watched them. Maybe we should take that as an example? I don't mind the jokes or the poking fun... i just hate to see my fellow commentors being unkind to a bunch of really cool people who are just trying to entertain us all while making things meant to bring a little joy and happiness to others.
So maybe you get tired of seeing cakes every episode. I bet *they* get tired of seeing, smelling touching and talking about cakes every blessed day of their lives as well. I think the show is really more about watching a tight-knit group of friends using humor and silliness and teamwork and respect for each other to maintain a fun and co-operative workplace. I like knowing that there are people out there like that. Personally, the show makes me smile and i wish only good things for the people that make it.
What a bunch of harpie anonymous wingnuts! Get a friggin' life. You don't like the show, don't watch.
And for what it's worth, Mary Alice is sex on a stick and I don't give a flying whiz what her bathroom scale says. It's easy to be cruel from behind an anonymous post.

Okay, "Rick from Seattle." Whoa, you must be THE Rick from Seattle. Not one of a million, but THE only man to EVER have that named that lived in Seattle. Whenever I see something posted by "Rick from Seattle," I know it's YOU, because that is such an uncommon name.
Ace of Cakes has been going on about five seasons too long. And why is it on the Food Network? It should be on the stoners and fat chicks network.

Mary Alice is a smart, funny, kindhearted, compassionate person who reaches out to others in need. And i've never seen her be mean, harsh, insulting or cruel to another living soul. Those are the things that make someone Beautiful.
How the hell do you know what she is, "granny melissa"? Because you watch her on television? You know nothing about her or who she is. All you know is what she gives you to go on in edited, 20 minute clips... which is all just FAKE. So basically your opinion is no more valid than ours.

I only thought that since so many others have felt free to voice *their* opinions of Mary Alice, i could feel free to do the same, though mine may be different. Not trying to be argumentative here, just more positive.

While the show is edited, yes, I can assure you that Mary Alice is exactly the same and has always been nothing but kind and generous to me, the readers here, and the assload of fans who email and call her constantly... while they're trying to work. If visiting a dying girl in a Seattle hospital (not done for publicity or for the show, obvs) because her wish was to meet someone from Ace of Cakes isn't a kind, altruistic act then I don't know what is.
