Lisa Garza's Got Back!
Next Food Network Star Person on Television contestant Lisa Garza just posted this pic of herself on Facebook in a slinky, very low-cut in the back dress by Abi Ferrin. I love it, Miss G!
My oh my... I hope they bring Lisa back for something on season 5. I don't really care what it is. Guest judge? A fashion challenge? Maybe she can show them all how to adhere grip to the spikes on their stilettos so no one else has a similar fall?

Are you kidding? I find Lisa irritating. Her squinting drives me crazy.
Please say she isn't coming back. Anyone who would wear heels in the kitchen is an idiot and is setting the wrong tone in the kitchen.

I LOVED her! She actually brought something unique to the party. As opposed to all the other bozos that were on that show.
Why they didn't choose her is beyond me.
It took me a while to warm up to her. But, I eventually loved her and would really like to see her back in some capacity.
Bad angle. But I love the look on her face. It's kind of saying, "You know you want it, and so do I."
Anyway, I don't know what kind of TV cook she would have been, but it certainly would have been better than Aaron. And if they could finds roles for Adam and Kelsey, they should have found one for her.
i am still trying to warm up to her. so far, i still don't love her. but she's rocking that dress and the squinty eyes which reminds me of my 3 year old who has the same hair cut!
I never really found her attractive, but she likes kinda hot in this picture.
What's not to like ? She can cook. She is educated and self-sophisticated, speaks and understands the English language fluently and is rather sultry looking.
Her 3 C's philosophy was a load of crap, but doesn't everyone on FN have some stupid nuance or POV.
It is shame she was robbed of the win .

Ha! I liked her too. She's certainly controversial, and she was one of the reasons I watched TNFNS4 - it certainly wasn't to watch Aaron bumble his way thru another challenge, gawd.
But, whatever. There's plenty of options on FN for all of us to watch the folks we like, and change channels on the folks we don't.
The woman certainly has a very high opinion of herself. (with no real reasons for it) A true d-lister.

I really liked her. She had cooking chops and was different in a way I found interesting even when it was clear she was full of herself. Ego or not, there was definitely a vulnerability about her too. In any case, I am glad that FoodTV at least diversified with some other non cookie cutter folks this year - Chefs Anne and Alex being the key examples. If the FN only was bent on promoting the banal Sunny, the "I will schill for TGIF but not actually eat there" shouting Guy, or the goofball who is going to feed sharks, I'd give up the FN for good. Whoa. Wait a minute. Those ARE the only shows they actually promote of late. Hmmmmm. OK then, the day Ina or Duff or Alton are no longer there, I'll take them off my speed remote.
i'm a little disappointed that you haven't posted about the premiere of ace of cakes tonight! i wouldn't've known if i hand't been flipping through the channels and seen the promo for myself.

I prefer the old way.help those in need but don't use it to promote yourself. Got to hand it to the girl, she's working it for all it's worth. Wonder how she'll paint the divorce. Brother !
She looks stank and doesn't have much of an ass. And it's not so much of a "come hither" look as it is a "I just crawled out of the pantry after being on my knees and snorting coke" type of look. Blech!
I couldn't stand her. Too much ego and not enough common sense. Not to sound like Debbie Downer, but times are tough financially speaking, and the last person I want to see on television is someone wearing a label and a fake smile telling me how FABulous it is to eat sophisticated and expensive food. These days it's hard for me to watch--dare I say it--Ina's show and see her house without a teeny "le sigh." Enter trombone....::wah wah::

I didn't care for her at first but she grew on me. I think she's very talented martha-like. Doesn't she design and make clothes too?
And they picked Aaron. Still baffles me. I guess that's the crap most "viewers" want. Not me.
I love the new shows with Anne and Alex.

Lisa looks awesome! She was the only one on NFNS that I felt had a unique enough personality to have a show.
I really enjoyed her on NFNS. I loved that she seemed a bit snooty, and then she would just bust out with something unexpected like singing a nutty soul song about her food. She had far more depth as a personality than her two co-finalists, and much better food chops to boot.
I have to question the people who don't get Lisa Garza. Truly.

She has serious cooking chops and I'm still rooting for her to get a show, preferably on Fine Living or PBS where they wouldn't try to make her dumb it down. She looks great in that party picture, which was posted on her PERSONAL facebook page, so I don't understand why anyone's pissed at her for trying to promote herself with it.
