More South Beach Wine & Food Fest Tix On Sale Monday!

Here's your last chance to purchase tickets to many of the sold-out events at this year's Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

Starting at midnight on Monday, January 12, tickets will go back on sale for events like the Burger Bash with Rachael Ray, Bubble Q with Tom Colicchio, Harrah’s Casino Night with Paula Deen, the Mouton Rothschild Dinner with Daniel Boulud and the Whole Foods Grand Tasting Tents (which always sell out instantly!).

Go to sobewineandfoodfest.com for more info and to buy online.

Luckily, my girl Sandra Lee is FINALLY slated to be there, and her "Cocktail Time With Sandra Lee" event is NOT sold out!!!

If that's not great news for a Friday, I don't know what is. I swear: this will be the year I get my cocktail with Aunt Sandy! If I have to wait until she's toally sloshed and draped over the hotel bar at 3 a.m., I will wait.

Like I've said over and over again, SoBe is one of the BEST food festivals out there. Tickets may sound a little pricey, but it's really worth it—even if you just get one event. And, what's better than being in South Beach in February?

Notice for the celebrities from food network that will be present, that Bobby Deen is not on the list. I wonder what happened? He has always in the past been there with Paula.

I noticed, too, that Bobby Deen is not on the list. Maybe he wasn't invited this year because of temper tirade that occured at 2 AM in the hotel corridor following Paula's Casino Night.

What was the temper tirade about? Hard to imagine that Bobby Deen would act like that. Were you there when he had this temper tirade?

Given the present state of the economy what idiot is going to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a ticket to watch Paula Deen act dirty and cackle her ass off...?

Hey Mario has no food network logo. I guess his next Iron Chef appearance will be as a challenger. Would love to see him against Morimoto.

To Anon 7:37 PM:

No, unfortunately, I didn't witness Bobby blowing a gasket. I read a comment on ExtraTV.com shortly after the incident. It was from a seemingly credible poster who was staying on the same floor as Bobby and heard and/or saw it happen. Shouting, banging walls, slamming doors, etc.

I don't know with absolute certainty that it's true, but as I said, it sounded credible. Even really nice guys can have a volatile side especially if he's had a few drinks. And I have heard comments from Bobby that tell me that he likes to enjoy a drink now and again.

Having a few drinks shouldn't make someone go into that type of tirade, especially if that's not the nature of the person. My guess is that he found out about something, or perhaps Paula made some rude comments about him being gay.

I think now though, it is in the past and he is focusing on his new show on food network. This secret was given away in an interview that He and Jamie did on WTOC in Savannah a couple of months ago. He could not go into any details, but the conclusion one got from the conversation is that he is very excited about it and busy filming. The new show has something to do with food and sports.

I agree, Bobby's tirade is over and done with. Curious to know why you think he's gay (have heard the rumor for a long time). It sounds like you live in the Savannah area. Are you privy to this info? Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if Paula said SOMETHING to set him off (whether it be a 'gay' comment or something else).

Regardless, I look forward to the new show. Great eye candy. And if he is going to have sports figures on the show -- well, more great eye candy (depending on who he has on the show). Thanks for the heads up.

Sandra Lee not sold out should not be a surprise. Aunt Sandy may be a babe but her recipes suck. BA Bye Sandy. Take Sunny with you.

You are hilarious. I love this pic. I counted how many times she said "nice" before the first commercial break in one episode, and I stopped counting at 11.
