Rachael Ray Waxes Eloquent Over Protege Daisy Martinez

And when I say "waxes eloquent" I mean wax. Did Rachael Ray, who herself already has a wax figure on display at Madam Tussaud's, get her new protege Daisy Martinez a wax dummy, too?

Take a look:

Her skin doesn't look real to me. Plus, Rachael's doing the classic arm over the shoulder/don't I look like I'm friends with Bill Clinton/Whoopi Goldberg/Britney Spears/etc. pose everyone does at the wax museum.

Now look at Rach's:

As you know, Food Network Addict was the first to speculate about Rachael's upcoming venture with Daisy Martinez, formerly of PBS. Fittingly, Rachael's got nothing but love for Daisy:

"She can't tell you about a recipe without telling you why you would want to make," Ray said in a telephone interview with the AP. "Which is so much more important to me than learning a technique."

if that wax thing is supposed to look like RR I look like the freaking Queen of England......

RR, you don't need any technique whatsoever to become a fine chef.

So don't learn anything new on our behalf.

The Lego RR on today's show looked more like her. It's being auctioned for Yum-0.

No way, anon! The wax RR is way better than that dumb Lego RR. The guy that did that he focused on her smile but it didn't come through on her Lego figure. I hope she puts some weave up in her head soon she looks better with the longer hair IMO.

Hmm... I don't think the wax one looks enough like her.

I think Daisy will be the new and MUCHO improved ingrid hoffmann!

The wax is better because it doesn't look like her. Duh. The Lego is totally her.

I used to think she looked better with longer hair but I thought she looked really good yesteday. Her hair looked healthy for once and I think she lost a few pounds.

Didn't say it looked better Charles. Can you read? I said it looked more like her and it did. The wax figure doesn't even look like her. Maybe in your blind mind.

And I love Rach so there.

I noticed Daisy's show will be airing this Saturday at 8:30(central); which was The Cooking Loft's slot. I have not seen any mention of another season of the Cooking Loft. This is one of the few shows on FN that I genuinely look forward to watching, do you know anything about what is going on with Chef Guarnaschelli?

I am looking forward to checking out Daisy's show; but not at the expense of The Cooking Loft!

The Cooking Loft will be coming back, according to Alex. FN doesn't really hold strong with timeslots all that often, so I wouldn't worry. Daisy probably has six episodes that they'll run as her test first season, and then another show will be on its place before they decide to tape more episodes or not.

Do you really think Daisy is going to show us anything new ?

You can only show how to cook tostones so many times.

Alex and The Cooking Loft better be back. Or what? I don't know. I like her, the show, and the recipes.

What does Rachael know about producing a show!!!!! Please. Yes, Charles she really needs to grow her hair. Her face is tooooo round for that style, just look at her pictures with the long hair. She actually looks pretty and younger.

Rach has a spell on "these people". How does she do it. She could sell them her dog's poop and they would buy it.
