Sandra Lee Celebrates Magazine Launch
Last night in New York, Sandra Lee held a launch party for her upcoming magazine Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade... and all I gotta say is: where was my invite, Auntie Lee?
I suppose Sandra wants to wait and let our first meeting be extra special, without all the paparazzi attention, you know. Perhaps at this year's Food Network South Beach Food & Wine Fest? She's got a special "cocktail time" event that I'm hoping to attend. I'll bring the swizzle sticks!
I'm sidetracking.
Back to the party.
Per the PR rep: Highlights from the magazine including desserts, cocktails and crafts were featured throughout an exclusive rooftop party overlooking New York City . The magazine, published by Hoffman Media (publisher of Cooking with Paula Deen), will be available on newsstands February 2009 and will focus on ingenious culinary and lifestyle solutions for those who want to stretch their time and resources while enriching their home life.
Are the words can't hardly wait clear enough?

Later, at the bar, she'll bust out the crayolas and ask who wants to color in her shirt.
She's the best.
Awww dude -
She's probably too distracted with her boyfriend NOT being put in the Senate seat vacated by Sen. Hilary Clinton. But I'll bet there were drinkie-poo's at the festivities!!!
I think it is time for some cocktails!
i don't necessarily think that she is a gourmet chef, but she's a smart business woman! kudos.
You can't mention the gourmet and or chef in the same breath/ time zone as Sandra Lee. Drunk- yes. Lush-for sure. But gourmet chef no way.
Probably not a good idea to pose in front of a photoshopped picture of yourself.
Cirse - Cannot agree with you more. The first thing I noticed about the post. But it wasn't a surprise after seeing her on some of the morning news shows.
I got her premiere issue yesterday at the grocery star. I was seriously let down. There were 3 recipes for lasagna alone and her magazine is overpriced.
She looks like a wax figure from Madame Tussaud's in that picture.
Lasagna? NO! Like Rach doesn't make enough of this crap.
