Gina Neely makes me reach for the remote every time I hear that annoying voice of hers.
Road Tasted was 120 times better with the Bros.Deen.

Gina's 5 mins were up long ago. She just can't let go!
We can only hope that she expires and is tossed off the Food network.I can not change the channel fast enough when I hear her voice. Rather watch paint dry than listen to their show.
i abhor Gina Neely.. As usual these two have whored themselves out to the Network... I mean come on Gordon Ramsey, dont you have enough with that version of Miss Piggy with hotflashes and married to Capn Crunch? Enough with the Neelys and their sugary sweet rapport. If I hear that Spice Fairy ding a ling thing again i will def retch...
I think you mean Gordon Elliot not Gordan Ramsey. Ramsey would NEVER put up with the Neely's craptastic love fest!
I want to like the Neely's, but I just can't stomach the way she acts. I'm watching the show alone and still get an uncomfortable feeling. I agree with the spice fairy...enough. It's the innuendo's, the poor grammer (my pet peeve) and the general shrill of her voice. It's ashame too, because several of the meals do look good. I often wonder how FN decides the success of their "stars", because I have to believe that they get complaints on the Neely's.
Did anyone catch the episode where Gina Neely specifically told the viewers you do not need to cook with GOOD wine . She told them to use the PLONK. Didn't matter. Maybe not in Tennessee Gina. I guess you act as sommelier at Interstate BBQ ?
This is what FN are giving us. Gourmands Supreme Neely Style that think good wine comes in boxes and you heat it up.
I find the opening of the show very funny when she says 'OUR family has restuarants...' No HIS family has restaurants long before you arrived you some how married the poor sucker.
I hate the Neelys so much, they give Memphis a bad name.
At one point Gina Neely was blabbing to everyone "they" owned the BBQ restuarants. Now that is changed to OUR family.Wonder if Jim Neely had something to say about that .

I thought I was the only one who was irritated by Gina. She needs to calm down. She tries to hard to be funny. It's embarrasing.
If they would replace Gina with one of the Neely brothers the show would be MUCH better.

I have seen every Neely show since its inception. While I do agree with most critiques expressed here, my question is what qualifies Gina & Pat to have a show? Where is the expertise? The Neely’s are not food experts, this is apparent in every show. Listen closely during each episode, you’ll find most things said are thoughtless ramblings. I watch FN for edification & entertainment both being absent in this show. The Neely’s are not good communicators rarely getting there point across. Their authentic “down-home” lingo doesn’t bother me, it’s the lack of content (the flow of one idea to another) that is a miss. The show is less charm, class, quality and enrichment. No one attempts/tries/critiques their recipes for many reasons but one in particular: lack of interest. They just don’t have it!
go read the ratings. they have the #1 daytime show on fn so ya'll obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Gina is a TOTAL MAMMY...and I'm so tired of the sexual undertones.

I never knew there were so many haters that watched FN. I watch the network for the diverse people that cook on the network, from seasoned chefs to everyday cooks and the Neely's seem to be your everyday cooks. Her voice and antics may be a little irritating from time to time, but Gina does show both men and women that you can work w/your spouse and have fun doing it. Plus make meals that look so damn good on tv. I LUV THE NEELYS

Well, Weekender I never knew there were so many lovers that watched FN! See, emotion and feelings are the same, just because your emotion doesn't match someone else's doesn't make theirs 'wrong', and it certainly doesn't make yours 'right.
The fact is Gina Neely irritates a lot of viewers. It will either affect the shows ratings, or it won't.
All of a sudden, "haters" is the word of choice for anyone who expresses an opposing opinion. This has nothing to do with "diversity". Gina Neely is just irritating and acts like an oversexed tramp.
I agree with all of the viewers that think Gina is ANNOYING!!!!!!!!. I also believe that the show would be a lot better with Pat and his brothers,since it is their Mom and Dad who started the business many years ago. The sexual undertones must stop.(GET A ROOM AlREADY). I have a loving husband who is my best friend,so Gina is the last person I need to teach me about black love. GET HER OFF THE AIR SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i never thought anyone could be more annoying than rachael ray. was i ever wrong the neelys pass annoyance and go on to worse than irritating they are unbelievable and come across as fakes get them off please
I find myself really listening to Pat, (of course he is a beautiful black man). He seems to be the one with the cookng talent and the interest and experience in cooking. I also wonder if the Neeleys are making those recipes for the first time --- they just don't seem too familiar with some of the ingredients that are used. I get uncomfortable with all the smoozing --- it seems fake and cornball. But I like their happiness, and I hope that they get really rich! Yay!

The Neely's are long past due for retirement...and the sole reason is GINA! The woman would drop even Oprah's ratings.

I am so happy that they got taken out of the Saturday lineup on FN. She is, without a doubt, one of the most irritating people on TV.
I'm a southern black woman and I'm offended that anyone would say Gina Neely represents southern black women. I cannot tolerate their show, although I've tried. Obviously the network has asked her to play up this bafoon character she has created. Their recipes are mediocre at best but I have never learned anything new when I've tried to watch them. Someone commented the Neelys and Sunny Anderson were being "hated on" because they're black. The Neelys are unappealing because they are extremely low class, have elementary recipes and Gina is obnoxious! Sunny is well spoken and has a wide range of culinary knowledge. Can't say the same for this duo.
AND if you pay attention they use generic Kroger brand ingredients ALL the time...I've even seen her use Big K soda in a recipe. I just expect more from someone with their own cooking show.
Thank you, Savannah Foodie, I am in total agreement. I am one of the White Devils who can't stand Gina, but always DVR Sunny's shows. It has nothing to do with race, just class...Sunny has it, Gina doesn't.
You said it right "white devil" your just an ass hole, GINA has more class in one of her toes than you have in your whole body. You wish your mate looked as good as she did and she is a very smart women about food and and has class to go with it, your just mad she better than Paula and her son's that don't do any thing but eat.
