Highlighted is the aspect of escape that Food Network offers. Everywhere else we're hearing news of the stimulus package, the wars still raging, and whether Michelle Obama will go sleeveless or asymmetrical again. On Food Network, the only talk of pork "is the kind being fried, baked, char-broiled before your eyes," says the WSJ.
Here's to escapism!

I'm totally into escapism on TV, either FN or movie channels. I don't think I've looked at broadcast TV in ages ....
