Paula Deen Featured on CMT "Cribs"

CMT apparently has a version of the old MTV show Cribs. I did not know that. For some reason I never thought that country stars would have homes that are as crazy extravagant as the rappers' "cribs" (stripper poles, Escalades in the front yard, bathrooms the size of a normal home) that made up the original, but maybe I was wrong.

In Paula Deen's appearance, she shows off her Mercedes and Lexus and even recounts a tale of being caught hot tubbing nude. Ahh, Paula. Wouldn't expect anything less from you!

Beautiful home, but Ms. Paula? Take a few of those bucks you're (over)spending on spray tanning and invest 'em in a good dog trainer...

I wonder if that's the driveway that she took a dump in and left it for her niece to find...

Is it spray tanning or too much makeup? It was distracting, but LOVE her house. I am also confused why they don't have a dog trainer. I'm not the greatest housekeeper, but could not handle dog poo everywhere.

Christine ;)

Why am I not surprised that she has dog shit all over her house.

The doggs are just following their mommy's example ... Mommy shits in the driveway ... Doggy shits in the house...

I think the dogs are a convenient excuse. Given her history of shitting in public and her moron sons. I doubt that the dogs are doing it. It could be anyone in that classy group.

Did anyone else find the spinning of the camera shots as distracting as I did? Obviously, her house is beautiful - money can buy that; but I had a hard time telling because the camera didn't stay on an area long enough to really take a good look!

And as usual, a couple of her comments were tacky. Why would anyone who had such a beautiful home want to speak about her dogs urinating and defecating all over it. It won't stay beautiful for long. There is nothing more gross to me than a dog that hasn't been housebroken -- and totally unnecessary. Just train the damn things!

Old habits are hard to break, just read in her book about her dirty apartment!! What I don't understand is why she seems so proud of having her dogs dump inside her home. It must be horrible to be a guest in her home!!!

I guess at this point, many of you have guessed that you dress Pauler up, but you can't take her out.

Some inbred hillbillies show more class.

i'd like to do something to her face......

Why is everyone talking about training the dogs. Clearly Paula is in need of being house broken.

I am with you Anon @ 12:00, too much circling of the house. I like how open the kitchen is. I want to cook with her in her kitchen. I think she was trying to dumb down the two luxury cars in her drive for the tv audience. I'm sure she doesn't know much about cars but I'm pretty sure she knew Muichael's vehicle was a Lexus without having to look at the emblem. It's ok, Pauler, it's not that big a deal. Now where you keeping the real high dollar rides at?

Paula was also on NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me this week. It was pretty funny. You can get a free download on itunes or on NPR's site!

Can you imagine the smell that house must have with that amount of untrained dogs!!!!!!

If my house was that awesome, I would not have that many untrained dogs running rampant. But hey, if she wants to spend her millions on replacing carpet and furniture every year, more power to her.
Her poor skin looked like and Oompa Loompa's.

The house is beautiful. When I met Paula two years ago, she told our group that she was renovating a new home close by due to lack of privacy and security reasons and that it would take 18 months to complete. Wonder how old this show is and if she's moved already?

Paula Deen is a dirty buffoonish clod who knows how to clean the billfolds of the bigger idiots who are stupid enough to spend fortunes traveling to her appearances and tickets to see her " Bathroom Bedroom Monologs " . That's all this clown can talk about .

Seriously?!? It's humorous to me that you people who are so blatantly rude (and jealous, in my opinion) spend so much time bashing a person that you obviously have ill feelings towards. Become more secure with yourself, and you won't feel the need to talk so negatively about others. Granted, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but you don't have to be so mean and hurtful with your comments. She's a person, and she deserves as much respect as you and I.

You have to realize that Paula is just a normal, down to earth person (regardless of how much money she has - and yes, she's worked hard for it), and she doesn't feel the need to put on fronts so that she seems as though she's someone else just so other people will accept her. Accept her as she is and don't waste your "higher class" time commenting so negatively.

Signed, a Proud Southerner and Paula Deen Fan

I can't believe the comments that you ignorant people have to say to make yourselves feel good. No one deserves this, especially this woman that has worked her way up to fame and fortune with years of struggle. People will always have their negative opinions due to jealousy and envie.

I love Paula...and she has every right to do what she wants with her house...If, you don't like her don't watch her!

I agree, Carolina Ally, these people are just jealous. Paula's a self-made woman, and I am proud for her. I don't begrudge anyone's success; I just say, "go for it".
