Tyler Florence Debuts New Website

Tyler Florence's recently announced (via Twitter) the launch of his redesigned website, tylerflorence.com. Check it out:

I like the dark gray and black design and bigger pics that fill up the site's sections. His new blog is featured prominently, so I'll be on the lookout for fresh posts, TyTy!

What do you think of the site's redesign?

Whoa. Ty-Flo is definitely a hero in the kitchen but I am not digging his new site at all. The busy and poorly designed nature of the site doesn't seem to fit the rustic and laid back approach he takes in the kitchen. I mean, there's scrolling text. That's so 90's! Am I wrong?

His site smokes everybody else in his group. Mad cool, love the recipe section.

I like Tyler, but that sight is horrendous! It's all done in Flash, way too busy and overcrowded and it plays music (the BIGGEST No-No of all in my book).

Keep it clean, keep it accessible and keep it SIMPLE, please!

I hate when people look at something simpe and say "It's too damn complicated." Well, you don't speak for everyone, Jim. His SITE (yeah, that's the way it's spelled) is not overcrowded or complicated. His blog, recipes, etc., each have a button that you click. If you haven't figured that out after all these years of the Internet having the same basic setup on every web page, then you're a lost cause.

I have yet to see any site that I thought was enhanced by Flash. The site author (apparently something called amediacreative) could get some really useful tips from Web Pages that Suck and Son of Web Pages that Suck by Vincent Flanders.

It's pretty, though. *shrug*

Tyler's site is fantastic. I spent time exploring and thought it was great.

I wish him nothing but the best on his adventure

And to the whiner complaining about the music...shut it off, if you don't
care to listen....fool

I'm a Food Network addict & have been since the beginning of it All. My favorite Foodie Star Tyler by far!! I was very impressed by the site & it made my morning when I received a notice in my in box today on facebook about his new page. I visit food networks site quite a lot, mostly for Tylers recipes , this new site of his makes it so much easier for me to get his recipes quick,( and to be able to buy his wine well that is just a added plus)!! So Go away Negative nellys peeps whith nothing better to do than put down someone else success's.
