Giada De Laurentiis Shows off Baby Jade on TODAY
I feel like Giada De Laurentiis has kind of been laying low for a while. Sure, she does her show Giada at Home on Food Network and she contributes to the Today show pretty regularly, but it still seems like being on TV and promoting herself hasn't been her #1 priority lately.
But I get it know, after watching this video of Giada's appearance on Today this morning. Her little daughter Jade must be taking up all her time.
Love that she's finally sportin' some hair. She's so cute in this video.
Also good: the part at 3:19 where the camera zooms right into Giada's cleavage. Caught yah, cameramen!

B****y shows off her kid all the time on Today. Spends more time talking about herself and that big headed child than actually cooking. As always it's always about poor little rich girl Giada.
BTW not good to hold a child over a hot cook surface. Waffle Iron even more dangerous!

And you have to admit the child does have a very large head.
Really guys....she's a baby. Don't make fun of her. As for Giada, sure she's rich and comes from money but the petty jealousy running rampant here is very obvious and tacky.

Absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out when someone's doing something dangerous, but making fun of the looks of someone's baby makes you come across as an A-hole.

Yes her child is very well behaved perhaps princess Giada can learn something from her. As opposed to what I think will happen which is Giada turning the child in to the spitting image of herself. In short a spoiled entitled brat.
She always put the child out there to get more attention for herself. She even found away to name the child after herself.

She was on again this morning. Two things I noticed.
1) They always have to refer to her as a chef. She's not.
2) She was talking about the foods of New York. Of course she started and spent most of her time talking about Italian food. She then referred to ALL other foods as ethnic.

For those of you who seem to dislike Giada so much, you seem to have seen her in absolutely everything...The Today Show, Giada at Home, NFNS on and on. If you don't like her, don't watch. Nobody is holding a gun to your head. Seems like a jealous obsession.

I used to like her show until I saw her on NFNS. From there got turned off by her nastiness. I don't go out looking for her but I watch Today most mornings she happens to be on occasionally cooking badly screwing things up and talking about herself.

Your right there are absolutely no other names to chose from. So the only option was to pick one that brings attention to her self. Give me a break!
I see what 9:55 is saying which is perhaps she should think out side of her zone. This is the same woman who goes to Paris for a show about French food and only eats Italian.
A. LOTS of people name their children after themselves!
B. There seems to be lots of jealous peeps on this board. Maybe u should waste your energy on something more productive than picking on an innocent child. ;)

I like her show and watch it most weeks. I also think she presents her recipes well, however there are two things she has to get rid of and that's the word AAAANNNNDDD and the phrase "THERE WE GO", it is most annoying. One show I counted 17 'THERE WE GOS". Once you are tuned into it it is very irritating.

All FN chefs, and everyone else for that matter, have their little "phrases" that they use. If all of Giada's sentences were cut & dry it really wouldn't be very interesting. She has to say something for goodness sakes!

Picking on Giada is one thing, I happen to like her, but picking on an innocent child is tacky and ignorant. I think Jade is adorable. I can not believe how hateful you people are. Did your mother's not love you as a child? I just don't understand how insensitive and coldhearted you all are being. If you don't like her don't watch her and don't continuously make it a point to leave comments about her. That's absurd. Unless it is you that likes the attention.
Someone mentioned their hopes that Jade doesn't get her mother's nose. Her nose happens to be one of the most unique and beautiful parts of her. If she gets anything of her mother's, it will not be a loss.

We have the right to criticize some who is the public eye and probably makes $25K per episode.
She needs new words to say other than “AND NOWWWWWWW”, which definitely sounds like meow. If you watch her shows often enough, you will notice how many times she says “and now”, which BTW I counted 31 on one show is very annoying after a while.
She needs new recipes that don’t include mascarpone cheese. It is ironic that the FN puts the NFNS through the mill on coming up with new and innovative recipes, when all Giada ever knows what to do is create another mascarpone or pancetta dish.
I would think that if you find Giada's show so incredibly annoying, you wouldn't watch it long enough to count the 31 times she says the same thing... the only point you've made is what a loser you are with no better things to do than watch shows you hate.
I like Giada a lot, but I do kind of cringe when she over-enunciates her words and I just can't help it...but it doesn't make me stop watching her. The baby is cute in the way that all babies are...but she must not have inherited Giada's looks at all. Sometimes it's tough on young girls with really beautiful mothers if they end up looking like a less attractive father or other family member...never know which genes you will get. I wouldn't go as far as some of the other posters to call a baby "ugly." That's hurtful, celebrity or not.

There is nothing wrong with the baby's head, I've seen babys in the store can't even walk stright. What do you have to say about that, yes from the locals. They haven't been 15 miles out of there comfort zone, and have nothing to do but talk about other people.Very ill mannered.

Jade is a stupid name. That is what Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones nameed his first kid, that he had with Bianca Jagger. The child's name was Jade Jagger.
But in that context it worked, because you would expect a Rock Star and his wife to come up with some outlandish name. When I hear the name "Jade" I think of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, or stuff from China. She, Giada, should have come up with a better name.
