Michael Proietti ALSO Questions Melissa D'Arabian's Integrity

Michael Proietti made me laugh this morning! He just posted a YouTube video impersonating fellow Next Food Network Star contestant Melissa D'Arabian and her oft-aired breakdown moment...

"That's questioning my integrity!"

Lol! Thanks for that Michael!

[And thanks to Matt for sending!]

Yikes he's getting even scarier.

Somehow I get the feeling that he's one of these people who can dish it out but won't ever be able to take it.

I would not one minute of this flaming fool. And, I agree with Anon 926am.

Yeah real comic genius Michael.

What a pillowbiter.

Between this and the local commercials that run ENDLESSLY during TNFNS showing that Michael is working at some small local restaurant, I'm guessing he didn't win.

Hey guys, I'm the one who tipped Jacob. Sorry if I made your eyes bleed! (there's another MP video posted on foodnetworkhumor.com).

I dunno Anon 10:46...
*possible SPOILER alert*

it's down here.

In the "Meet Michael Proietti" video, there's a 1-2 second clip showing Bobby Flay coaching him and standing behind a camera a la TNFNS 4 (when Bobby walked Lisa and Aaron through theirs and Fee-eddy did Adam's)...so my guess is that he's made it to at least the top four.

Notwithstanding whatever happens to Michael (and I have to say I'm bored with his 'isn't-it-cool-how-over-the-top-I-am' schtick already), this was funny, and Melissa deserves to be mocked for her 'integrity' moment.

The only reason it doesn't matter is because it's obvious Melissa isn't TNFNS, but she *did* require extensive help to complete her dish, and she should have acknowledged that rather than go into crying denial mode.

Andrew, I'm not a big Melissa fan, but when someone tries to take partial credit for something you've cooked just because they helped you plate it, I think it's okay to get upset (not cry like a five year old, but to get upset).

There's a big difference between cooking and plating.

Bottom line, she didn't manage her time wisely. It was unclassy of her competitors to throw her under the bus, but bottom line, there are already a zillion comfy mommy types on FN, and she lacks the chops. I can understand why she was upset, but it just goes to show that she didn't understand the dynamics of the competition; they weren't mocking her integrity, they were trying to highlight her incompetence. Big difference.

Bottom line, Michael Proietti? This bitch is HILARIOUS.

I just love Michael-he makes me laugh and I would watch his show.
I want the the recipe for his last dish. Jacob-can you ask if it can be provided?
Thanks.

Michael is an embarrassment to homosexuality. Hey assbag, stop being an "Eek! A mouse!" douche and living down to sterotypes.

He is pitiful and so are those who condone his behavior.

lame

Haha Now that's funny
There's no crying in cooking.
When her kids cry, does she turn on the waterworks too? It is so pathetic.

Just stop whining. It's not like you just got a cancer diagnosis.

She should have stood up for herself and acted strong and not like a cry baby. I guess she's around toddlers too much.

Also, she will have a staff to help if she gets her own show. But she won't win. Better not.

"assbag"? Wtf is that? Anyways, I'm pretty sure Michael is pretty thick skinned coming from the Bronx AND being gay, so to say that he can prob dish it and not take it is prob way off mark.

LOL He said he came out of the armoire haha now that's funny! I like his accent too, talking bout "from Bedstye to Bangkok honey we do it oyallllll" LOL

I like him. Fieri is over the top too and apparently a lot of people like him. I'd rather watch Michael, at least he's a little more tongue in cheek than Fieri with his "I'm still a frat boy, dudes" mannerisms. Oh, let's play pinball while we cook! Now we'll throw this bad boy on the grill. Please.

Sorry Carlos while you have a very good point you can't go after people for bringing up Michael's life style. Michael is the one who is always making it the first and foremost thing we know about him.

It over shadows the fact that, from what we have seen of him so far, he appears to be an extremely talented chef.

At least he's more entertaining than Shamu!

I realize that this may come as a big surprise to some of you, but this IS television, with lots of editing. You may want to consider the fact that Melissa is 40 years old and her oldest child is three to actually mean that she had a lot of life experience before she was a mother. It is as unfair to stereotype mommies as it is to stereotype gay people.
