Congrats "Everyday Italian" -- Winner of 3 Emmys

Giada De Laurentiis' show Everday Italian picked up three Daytime Emmys Friday night at the Creative Arts & Entertainment Emmy Awards at Manhattan's Time Warner Center.

Everyday Italian won in the Outstanding Directing in a Lifestyle Show and Outstanding Lifestyle Program categories, while Giada herself won Outstanding Lifestyle Host!

Congrats to G. and the entire staff of Everday Italian! All three were much-deserved wins, as EI is one of the most beautiful shows--visually--on the network. The time and attention paid to making each episode look almost "movie-like" is not easy.

Here's hoping Giada's new show is just as good... or even better.

Sadly, our own Sandra Lee lost the Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling award to the staff at The View. Better luck next time Aunt Sandy!

[Thanks Mary!]

Sandra was ROBBED! Those snatches at the academy of television arts and crafts or whatever the hell wouldn't know incredible hair if it were sitting in front of them at the movie theater, obstructing their view of Sex and the City, because they buy into mainstream bullshit like that and the shitty ass View, while Sandra Lee is left out in the cold trying to solve the plight of the American Wife with Cool Whip and Taco Seasoning Packets and Fabulous Hair. Shame on America!

I love Giada and love her recipes but I don't look forward to her head getting bigger than it already is. And it will. LOL. I can't even watch Aunt Sandy. Sandra Who? She's awful.

Congrats to Princess Giada. This could get rather interesting I think. I predict a monster in the making, if not already here.

It's about time. What a way to end a series...picking up daytime Emmies. The show always has looked spectacular, and the food, as ever, looked delectable. (I will always be grateful to have learned how to make lemon spaghetti from watching GDL. I prepared some for my lady friend, and she couldn't stop talking about it for two whole days.) I hope the new series is just as appetizing to watch--and successful--as "Everyday Italian" was.

Damn Jeff, if ur girl soaked her panties over something as simple as lemon spaghetti, what the hell has she been eating all this time? Ramen noodles and hamburger helper? You must have awakened her taste buds!
